• The site migration is complete! Hopefully everything transferred properly from the multiple decades old software we were using before. If you notice any issues please let me know, thanks! Also, I'm still working on things like chatbox, etc so hopefully those will be working in the next week or two.

Post Whoring - 5.5.1 - We have a turd in the punch bowl

I usually floor it past the white gp lol. I sometimes drive by him when he's in the center turn lane, and I'm turning right onto the road he's on. In the 06 I do the same but it's all SC whine lol. Wonder if he may catch on to that

Also sanded off the paint on the rim and face of the tips and polished them. I like the look better.

When I "polished" my tips, I took a metal file and filed the ends hahahaha.

I actually sanded them first. I don't think I should have started with 80 grit. There's scratches. But they're exhaust tips. So I really don't care much.

I'm pretty sure they aluminum, mine never rusted. Just oxidize and got cloudy or nasty brown/orange from my catless exhaust.

I used like 100-200 grit, then 800 grit wet sanding to 1000 grit wet sanding and polish.

Whenever I was lazy and wanted to touch them up I just grabbed a die grinder with wizzy wheel on it and went to town in like 10 seconds. Fastest way to get them clean again.

Did you guys do anything to keep them from rusting after you cleaned off the paint?

They're aluminum. They corrode I guess over time but easy to fix.

So. I went back to the beginning of this thread and GMT400 has a chat thread with 300k posts. They recently changed from Vbulletin. Don't think there was many issues with that thread.
