There are positives and negatives to working to smaller companies. What is funny is after I left the bedliner place I swore I was done working for small companies, yet I find myself back in a small company and actually love it. Loving it has more to do with people actually showing respect, appreciation, and knowing how to run a business.

With larger companies there is always someone you can go to who is higher than your superior if there is a problem. In a small company though you just have to eat sh!t.

Welp, my manager didnt care nor did the store manager. So it looks like if more crap like that happens I'll rack up enough points to lose my job lol.

I was about 3 minutes from work when I was stopped in my tracks by road closed signs. I texted the shop manager and told him I was going to be a few minutes late. I had to go back down around and come in from the other direction and ended up being about 7 minutes late. I stayed a few minutes late to make up the time and said something about making up my time to the GM. He laughed and said "You work hard enough that no one gives a fvck if you're late or not." LOL

I would quit any job that gave me some point bull****. If I am late its for a valid reason, when I was a slave to others I always called in 15min before my arrival time and told them I might be XX late. Sometimes I arrived on time, others 5-10min late, I never heard anything negative about it.

I told my boss go get fcked 12/10 and walked out i was tired being cussed out every day by my Forman. He told me good luck getting a job any where else that day I was hired at our competitor shop for a doller more an hour lmfao. And I just talked two my ex coworkers to come and work where I am now lol. Old boss lost me I was the wheel seal guy for 4-12 and one the guys I talked in to coming over was the only a/C tech on 4-12 shift. Lol

This is why I don't drive lowered junk, there was just a rock laying in the road. Car was ready to be picked up so it went for a final shakedown and this happens. Bent a lot of fancy stuff but coulda been worse.

You're driving along in an area recently flooded and frequented by dump trucks, I guess. All he had time to do was hit the brakes and center it to save the bodywork. Its on a 60s T-Bird. Has a 390 and 700R4 with a TCI bellhousing thingy. Rock went under the engine xmember but dinked the oil pan and made solid contact with the trans under hard braking. Dude kinda made a save, anything else woulda cleared it.

Its one of those transmissions built without the bellhouse area... y'know theres a thick front plate at the front mounting flange that hangs as low as the starter ring and it got pancaked first. Of course it died right then and he coasted some. But yes there was great big race style protection over it. Hot rod parts, man. At least it stopped it from ripping the trans pan. Just kinda wrapped the flexplate and trans mount flange around the converter. What an adventure, right? Its why I won't have a business, randomness bites.
