Up here in Minnesota and North Dakota we mostly call it pop. Sometimes we use soda. Never heard anyone refer to all sodas as Coke though, heard /of/ it, but never actually heard it, lol.

I don't drink much soda, unless its in a glass bottle and/or uses sugar instead of hfc, or its that "healthy" stuff my Mom has that uses Stevia as a sweetner. And, Pepsi is so bland. It's almost as bland as that cheap Walmart pop, lol.

dated a chick back in HS, her mom was from Erie PA seems the hicks there call it pop. she ask if you want a pop and you never even knew wtf flavor you would get lol

Amen. I thought we did the soft drink terminology re-hash as an annual tradition at GPF. Cola is still the word for it, but the current vernacular just drops that part. Our grandparents said "Pepsi-Cola, or Coca-Cola" or if my grandma, "Coke-Cola". Its not just regional dialect, but also age in some cases. There is no Mason / Dixon line of soda / pop. lol

Birch beer was suprisingly delicious. It just felt like I shouldn't drink a whole bottle because medicine.

Some old woman took out a telephone pole today, the top bit was hooked to the wires hanging down and the rest of the pole was snapped and the front of her mini van was crunchy. I'll pull it off the dash cam tomorrow, nothing as it happened just as I was driving by.

I got surgery on my leg today. This was the first moment j got up and realized oh I'm ****ed and literally fell back down in pain and now the wounds are seeping through the bandage.

Got my heads back from the machine shop today. Out of two sets of heads, 3 had cracks and one good one. Ran the good one and the one with the smallest crack least likely to open up into the water jacket. All the cracks were valve to valve.

I got a set of vise grips, channel locks, and a bendy grabber for pickup up stuff and other odds and ends, I need a bigger tool box now :( i dont have room for them

Theres worse problems you could have, lol. Cool tools. I think I should warn you to be careful the first time you "bow up" on one of those groove joint pliers because Husky. My pair is just made of metal thats too soft. Just sayin watch it.

Being Christmas today, I was gifted with a jellybean tablet so I think somehow thats gonna benefit my GTP in the future.

Yeah husky isnt my first tool choice but i dont really use things hard, I quite like craftsmen myself.

Had a good day with the kiddos, Danny got a bike, Zoey got a plastic kitchenette set thingy. I got 2 sets of screw drivers, one set for inside and another set of Craftsmen for outdoor stuff. Various other odds and ends for the kiddos and such.







I thought this was spiffy. My dad got the kids a party bulb from work. Some engineering and tada, lol:




Woohoo IDJ, now you just gotta find a way to get an OBD2 to BT adapter...might hance your luck on a $3 ebay jobby or something.

Yea, my dad grows his beard out like that every year. This is the first year there wasn't a baby of some sort hanging from it, so he was happy.
