Shower? Lol that's a bucket attached to an old fishing reel. They fill the bucket up with toys go up into the house and reel it up.

It could, but we're renting this house and my landlord don't give a **** about anything on the house. They won't spend a dime on the house unless it's "not livable." Anything that has been done to the house, I did and they only paid for parts (not labor). Since this isn't my house and I never even got a "thank you" I got sick of it and decided not to do anything else unless it major.

There's like 8 or 9 layers of shingles on that shed, haha.

Well, who would have though after applying for 20+ jobs over the last few months that I would get my first interview from placing an ad on Craigslist looking for work?

Long story short, I put an ad up a week or so ago, hoping maybe someone looking to hire would see my qualifications and call me. All I got for the last week was spam. I wake up this morning to a legit email, called the guy, talked for a few minutes, and will be going in for an interview tomorrow.

OH and for the record, the swing set does have power now, but no relays yet. We put white Christmas lights all over it, and I mounted an old pair of PC speakers on the bottom side of the floor. I know the speakers probably won't survive the weather, but I don't care these things are trashed anyways.

On a funny note, I only have 1 way to listen to MP3s at the moment, an old cell phone I have. I use it while I work out and now use it when we're outside playing with the kids. I have it on random while I work out and have Pantera, Five Finger Death Punch, Bullet for my Valentine,.....and....100 kids and family songs. That's right. This morning I was lifting to "Cowboys From Hell" and the next song was "The Wheels on the Bus go Round and Round." On the other side of the coin, yesterday we were outside playing on the swing set listening to "Old McDonald had a Farm" when I walked inside for a minute. I walked back out and my daughter had changed the song to Bullet for my Valentine, smiled at the phone, and set it back down (She's 2). She's my kind of girl, and I think I got this parenting thing figured out.

I wired up my shed... 2 30amp circuits, then added another batch of wires to send power back from the generator to the transfer switch inside. Since then I've also finished the landscape border at the front of the rock area and cleaned up the yard waste pile i had. It's looking nice.

dont forget the bark and the black plastic it will clean it up really nicely. Also were the dam pictures bill you know we want to look at it too

black plastic, you noob lol you know what plastic is? its a mess you need to clean up next year. weeds still grow in the new mulch.

pull weeds, mulch over every spring. and who uses bark? thats got to look like crap lol Cali and the odd things they do and use.

We will hit the bigger piece of the work. Here's the pile of slashings that looked bad, add two years of grass clippings etc to that and you get the picture. Big pile


All because I wanted a shed. Cut a bunch of trees, moved a lot of yard waste from prior landscapers etc.


Shed arrived and it was clear.. I needed to keep the rock out of the grass.


Last year I did the timber around the beginning of the front, the side and the back right behind the shed. Along with some patio block in front of the doors


After a few (say 5-6 loads 5x10 trailer) loads of yard waste to the town yard


In the midst of cleaning up the pile, I felt that I had to finish the landscaping across the front of the shed/rock area

Back to a few weeks ago... I bumped into a generator and had already been talking about bringing power out to the shed. I dug a trench to bury conduit for the wires, the next day Kyle and Samm helped get the wires through it and out to the shed.

Hooray power! Put in two outlets so far, one on each side of shed.


Since this picture, I cleaned up the area above the transfer switch.

bill moved in and was like, look! trees i can cut down lol.

you lucky there was no ivy growing, that stuff fights for its life big time, never wants to get ripped up.

Look at the first couple of pics.. see the green tree trunks, what do you suppose that is? There's prickers and all kinds of vines/ivy etc in this area and the yard overall. I'm constantly fighting. Once or twice a year we clean the arborvitae of vines etc.
