Jesus. Almost as bad as my brothers new 2002 Nissan sonata thingy. Inherited it from grand mother and it has 39k miles on it. But original factory spark plugs (platinums). And they were done for.
Oil was a quart low and needed changing.
And let's just say the passenger side front bearing was falling out....and it's supposed to be pressed in.

Yeah I bought a dorman box with like 5 of them in it. came down to just over $3 each. A few friends already bought some off me for their GM's.

So, my Fusion (F8ck Ford) is having some issues, and both dealerships I went to found no fault with the vehicle. Which I call BS on. I am going to take it to an independent mechanic and see what they say.
My issue is the transmission. The problem is when the transmission is hot the car clunks when shifted from park into drive or reverse. When put into reverse I get a cool whining sound. Well it would be cool if it was supercharged but it is not.
Watch with a set of good head phones. I noticed the whining is pretty easy to hear, but the clunking is not. In real life the clunking is a lot more noticeable than the whine. I just want someone to tell me that is not normal. If this normal I would have never bought this car. This car certainly didn't do this when I bought it.
I have a 2014 Escape, and that vehicle is fine. I don't understand why two different dealers call this normal.

They said the whining/clunking is normal? And both issues started at the same time? Hey if you think it may break because of that issue but they won't fix it til it does (after the warranty expires at 36k) you better break it now lol

This POS sits outside now. I am currently not even driving it right now. I am DDing my convertible for the summer. I am hoping that by leaving it outside someone will either steal it, vandalize it, or burn it. I have storage insurance on it which cover all of that for the price of the vehicle. This POS isnt even worth what the dealer was going to give me on trade on it.
The dealer was going to give me 13,300 plus another 1500 if I bought another used or new Ford product. But I am not getting another Ford.
I tried to do burnout in this car, and even with trac control off the tires hardly spin on pavement. On lose gravel I was bouncing off the rev limiter lol. I only started doing that after the transmission was already having issues.

Try it on blacktop in the rain. Going straight my car will end up in second gear in like 2 seconds, so that should at least get decent wheelspin lol
Are there any other issues with it at all? You could just turn the radio up and ignore it, drive it like you stole it til it breaks so they'll fix it.
I don't think anyone would vandalize it in your area. My uncles place on 32 is nice but it seems once in a while people walk down the road taking what they want when no one is looking.

Someone did try to break into my GTP, but fail only after breaking my door handle. I fixed it myself with a red junkyard handle. What a dick. I talked to some neighbors and I found out who it was. Let's just say I scared that kid pretty good.
Water would help that gutless 4 cylinder break the tires free. Nothing like putting the foot down in my GTP though. That thing roasts tires. And so does the T'bird with 400ish foot pounds of torque. Even that old monster can still light 'em up with ease.

Yeah those 390's have some power, my uncle told me it would lift the front tires off the ground in his mustang, after he put the posi/locked rear axle in it.

In ray. When I rev the T'birds engine in park the whole car leans to the right a bit. lol
The Fusion has a random no start issue sometimes. Not sure what is up with that. The dealer couldn't figure that one out either.
