Post Whoring - 5.5.1 - We have a turd in the punch bowl

Hey guys! It's been a minute since I've been around. Just thought I'd update you that we couldn't stay away from the W-body scene for long.
Once I traded in my red SS on the Acadia, we realized that was a mistake and should have kept Caroline.

Lee picked up a fairly clean '08 SS on Monday. It needs some cleaning TLC, and some random maintenance things caught up....but its a pretty clean car. Has 121k on it. Silver, black leather and tint already. I haven't gotten any pictures yet since it's been a garage queen and jacked up since Wednesday.
My hope is that I will get to turn it into my daily driver and Lee will drive the Acadia since he does a whole 2 miles a day. We've been racking up the miles on the acadia since I got it.
Pictures will come sometime.

that guys getting a lot of tickets. over weight for one, no trailer brakes on anything, improper use of it all. and pretty sure you need a class A lic to drive a double articulated vehicle. definitely over height too lol

It almost looks like the cop is walking off the length too. How anyone could think that was a good idea is mind-boggling.

I've seen some crazy sh!t with people hauling over the years. A few years back on the way to Norwalk for the Summit Nationals a truck hauling a big ass boat that was as wide, or wider than a highway lane passed us up. We were all like WTF. We ended up stopping to grab some snacks, stretch, etc and we got back on the road and a few miles up the road we see a cop behind the guy and the guy dropping the trailer.

Another time, on the way back from Norwalk we got behind some slower traffic and moved to the left lane and started passing a long line of cars and see what was holding everyone up. It was a semi hauling 2 53' flat bed trailers full of steel beams.

Seen other crazy sh!t too, but those two come to mind quickly.

rednecks........ lol

hey how hot you think that poor uhauls tranny was? trailer looks to be bending too. i wonder if he rigged the tail lights. mind boggling for sure.

There was definitely some strain.

Hell looking at the Ford on the trailer I don't even think it is rated to haul that trailer on its own.
