• The site migration is complete! Hopefully everything transferred properly from the multiple decades old software we were using before. If you notice any issues please let me know, thanks! Also, I'm still working on things like chatbox, etc so hopefully those will be working in the next week or two.

haha that looks like poop stain on the carpet[/QUOTE]

I actually never noticed that stain before lol it's probably juice from my daughter..... or cat poop haha

A lot of cat owners... I should get a video of my cats at the farm fending off our st. bernard when I throw some food outside. We have about 10 wild cats and then one cat you can touch sometimes.

I actually didnt get rid of him, he passed away. As best I could tell, he spent too much time under the lamp warming up.

Well I am a bit of a beardie enthusiast and have never heard of one basking for to long :th_scratchhead: But he looked pretty young in that pic maybe 18-24 months?

Yeah, just a little over 18 months, and Ive never heard of one baking either, but it was as best I could tell what happened. I wanted to get me another one just never got around to it. I kept all the stuff and equipment I had for a long time after thinking I would.

Well If I had found this site earlier when I was breeding these bad boys I could have given you one :D But they are amazing I can't see myself living without one or two at all times.

I would have taken him too. I loved that little guy, he was loads of fun. I kept small crickets around for him to eat along with other food and it was just a hoot to watch him stalk them suckers and then zap them up.

He was, as you can tell, very much a great photographic subject too. Just an awesome little guy. I dont know how well such a pet would go over too well my dog though now, so that would be a challenge. That dog should be a tax deduction for me because it is just like having another kit, I just dont have to change poopy diapers.

Haha yeah they are awesome aren't they? But my guys are a little to old to be eating just crickets anymore, they require more greens :/ I made quite a bit of money doing it and if I can get back into it you can have one but it probably won't be for awhile lol

Well when they are younger the beardies usually have an attitude problem but my jack russel (who hunts small critters) is their best friend. I introduced them as soon as I got them and slowly allowed more time together until they were both comfortable.

I would have never guessed you could have made good money at breeding bearded dragons. Had I known that I would have gotten another quickly so I could have learned more about them. Ive always enjoyed things like that 'cause they require attention to detail and focus.

Mine definitely had an attitude problem at times. On a few occasions he would open his mouth pretty wide like he was going to snip at me or try and eat me. At the time though he was my only pet and Im sure I aggravated him a lot.

There are certain breeds of dragons that you can charge in excess of 500$ for. The most I sold one for was 200$ and that was to someone who really wanted her lol.It takes about 1500-2000$ to get a nice setup going of 1-2 males and 3-5 females (you make your money back pretty quickly off first batches). They are awesome to watch and grow :P

Yeah usually they don't show aggression by opening their mouths unless it is a small opening and they make an almost hissing sound. Usually a wide open mouth is to release heat from their bodies because it is the only way they can. They black beard and head bob (females cant black beard and it takes like a year and half for the males to be able to do it). I made sure to get a picture of trogdor doing his black beard to the camera :P

haha Grizabelle. People always look at me funny when I tell them my cat is named Cheese...but kids! Ya gotta love em! lol
