The site migration is complete! Hopefully everything transferred properly from the multiple decades old software we were using before. If you notice any issues please let me know, thanks! Also, I'm still working on things like chatbox, etc so hopefully those will be working in the next week or two.
I can remember when I was a kid and my grandmother would fill her 86 Celebrity from almost bone dry for $40.
I think gas is around $1.34 here now for regular. It was $1.34 last Sunday when I went to Bathurst New Brunswick. I had gas coupons for 7 cents off a liter from Irving though. I usually get around 20 mpg with my truck. Didn't calculate it out for the trip to New Brunswick.
I topped up before I left the island and filled up before I left Bathurst which is about a 3 1/2 hour drive from my house. Used less than half a tank on the way there. Was a bit under half when I filled up before going back after driving around Bathurst for a bit with my girlfriend.
I drive about 20 thousand kms a year. Haha. More this year if I am travelling back and forth. About a 3 1/2 hour drive from where I am living now to where I hope to live this summer.
I remember the day i got my license gas was $1.67 and i had to fill my car up. It was $40 ish dollars but that would last me about 2-3 weeks of dicking around and being a teenager.
I graduated in 92 and gas was .89 ! we drove all over creation and had plenty of money for other stuff. I had an 89 Bronco back then that had a 30 gallon tank in it. It used to cost like $28.00 to fill it, my buddy still has his and it cost him like $110.00+ to fill the darn thing.
