‪Ported Gen 3 M90 supercharger‬‏ - YouTube

Just ported out my gen 3 blower because I can't really afford to go for a gen V. Here is a video that can help you compete with the gen V if you have a larger throttle body setup.

After you remove the blower, you will need a Dremel or any type of rotary tool, a squeeze spray cap with the straw attached, a dust mask, 10mm socket and ratchet with an extension , a pair of goggles, some supercharger oil, A metal boring bit, and some grinding stones.

This one here...^ is the one I used

Use your squeeze spray cap to spray out your supercharger oil. and remove the bolts on the snout with a 10mm socket ans a small extension to take off the snout and take out the rotor packs. The oil fill is removed with a size 5 allen wrench

Good Luck and enjoy the extra power!!

Cool video. Also make sure you get some washers or shorter bolts and thread sealant since you basically open the threads to boost when you port it like that. I would also open up the bottom like ZZP has.

How do you like the LS1 TB?

I thought about removing the H bar, but there's no gain in it for me with the type of intercooler I'm running. It would be perfect with a ZZP core tho. I love the LS1 TB. It's a kick every time I hit the throttle.

I didnt mean the H bar. I mean toward the left of that picture, so like the bottom of the triangle. The rotors go all the way back so if you open that up almost to the wall, the rotors wont be pushing air against that lip as much.

Oh I see what you mean. Good call! I'll probably do mine the same way before I get it bolted back on. Thanks

this thread already exists.

zomg.

all you do is remove the bolt hole type things, nice bevel and call it a day.

Do appreciate the video though.

You don't need a gen V LIM, just cut a larger hole in the LIM to match the outlet of the gen V. Never understood why people bothered with that bit.
