Porting gains

If your knock free, a higher octane gas won't do a damn thing for you without more timing and/or more boost.

Nah, I've only been screwed twice. At least this guy is still around sometimes. Another guy made off with a CC that I made out to him for a good set of S/C rotors.

A ported GenV nets no gains but more whistle from the blower, dyno proven. A fully ported inlet/outlet GenIII still can't match a stock JinnyFive.

No no no your not getting me at all Im askin what is the HP?

E85 @ X PSI tuned for E85 ???
vs
Regual @ X PSI tuned for regual gas??

Whats that difference?? Leave the boost alone.
What your talking about is E85+more PSI=X HP
If you changed fuel and retuned it sure in the hell wouldnt be a 212 HP difference. Some gain because of the higher octane and tune being the only difference between the 2.

"Hey guys lets switch to E85 and NOT run more boost."
Alright.. good idea, what you going to say next, your going to add an intercooler and meth injection and keep the stock pulley on your regal?

It's like.. I'm going to take a stock turbocharged car like a wrx or dsm or something, say for this example the stock turbo peaks at around 250CFM or something like that. (This is just an example for the purpose of understanding why you are rong. Yes.. "RONG") Your saying.. you'd switch to something like a GT35R or HX35 or similar, a larger turbo allowing you to flow more power. (Like switching from low octane gas to E85). But you'd want to keep the CFM the same? Why? Why would you do that? That sounds like a huge waste of time and money and its just totally not relevant. People use E85 for the same reasons they use bigger turbos and such.. So they can run more boost and make more power because their previous gas or turbo or exhaust or head flow or whatever the hell your changing didn't allow you to.

Please tell me your trolling and this is all just some kind of sick, tasteless joke LOL.

But hey Matt, Vet knows more than Will at Overkill or Paul at PRJ...

Right?

Since when? Ive never talked to anyone other than email Intense thats all about some Gen5 info. Nice to see things never change and your constantly trashing about a ? I asked way to go jackA$$:th_thumbsup-wink:

You couldn't even figure out how to quote it correctly? Epic phale. I'm just saying that your point is entirely null. The reason for e85 use in high performance cars is so that you can get more power out of the engine with timing and boost. The reason for e85 is NOT to run the exact same boost and tune as before. Just so you know.

If you werent such a dipsh!t and were in the chat yesturday when I was talking to matt and blue you'd get the story here instead of posting just to be a JackA$$ but what else is new with you right? Trust me I know what E85 is for and its benifits, and it CAN benifit performance with out changing the boost. I guarentee you a can running X amount of boost and tuned for E85 will make more HP vs a tune with regual gas that is more than likely running less timing with regular gas. I never said anything about throwing E85 in and instantly more HP. Im looking for the HP difference from E85 vs. Regual gas after being tuned for each fuel. Both having the boost being the same.
