Well ZZP runs a 3.0 with O.D. so equivalent to a 2.8 on their Gen V record car with 464whp. Many ppl have run a 2.55 though.

The only changes to the engine are modified fuel injectors, upgraded fuel lines and piston rings and a higher boost setting on the superchargers.

8.2:1 CR = 806 bhp, switch to E85 and it makes 1018 hp.
26% more power... Just by switching to E85 and cranking up the boost.
two centrifugal S/C's + a redesigned and fully built ford modular 4.6.... I say its a lot of win.
Any answers? So let me get this straight then... the gen v is only for people that run out of pulley sizes for the gen 3? So lets say i have a fully ported gen 3 with way an xp cam and supporting mods, no intercooler runnin what a 3.25 pully or whatever. There would be no gain goin to a gen v? I just dont wanna wast money if i dont have to.
Any answers?
No no no your not getting me at all Im askin what is the HP?
E85 @ X PSI tuned for E85 ???
vs
Regual @ X PSI tuned for regual gas??
Whats that difference?? Leave the boost alone.
What your talking about is E85+more PSI=X HP
If you changed fuel and retuned it sure in the hell wouldnt be a 212 HP difference. Some gain because of the higher octane and tune being the only difference between the 2.
