• The site migration is complete! Hopefully everything transferred properly from the multiple decades old software we were using before. If you notice any issues please let me know, thanks! Also, I'm still working on things like chatbox, etc so hopefully those will be working in the next week or two.

Well I haven't got the chance to pull the valve cover yet but I did a wet compression test and it shot up to 140 and on dry it went to 60 but then would drop.

Well I put it back together after I did compression test. Now I have a p0300 code multiple misfire I went through one by one pulling off the plugs and the all had spark. Could it be the zzp tune? The car is backfiring and hardley stays running.

back firing is usually due to messed up timing, the icm controls the spark to the coils, then to the plugs, all the plugs may still fire while testing, but they may not be firing when they are supposed to. check the wires to the crank sensor as well. the icm, and crank sensor work hand in hand.

the crank sensor and icm work together to time the spark to the plugs. if the wires are messed up, or the icm is bad, or if the crank sensor or cam sensor are bad it will pop and back fire.

you do have the plug wires on right, right? that would also cause back firing and popping out the intake.

By wet test you mean putting some oil in the cylinder and testing? If so, then your piston rings are shot...time to rebuild or new engine
