Yeah love that color and your right it would look so much better on a coupe the 04 just isn't made for dip lol still doing it though cheaper than paint haha
 
yes they have few blues that would be close to med gulf metallic but its no base clear lol. some use a silver base then light whatever color mixed with pearl or metallic over it. silver base type painting has been done for ages instead of color over primer the silver base turns out alot more vivid and crisp.
 


i have 3 coupes and the ugly winter beater is a strong canidate for a dip job....

like i said its the lame alllllll black erry thang turds that give the product a bad rap....
 
some are going to hate on it no doubt but its no different than *cough* *cough* bullit wheels on a damn gp either........

It's your car, make it what you want. I did some wheels on a car a while back. Came out flawless, and got many compliments... And it held up very well.
