When I got my car, the head unit was dead, so I got an unlocked one from eBay. It looked exactly like the one that was in my 07, which played SiriusXM just fine. My 08 was built without XM, and the dealer refuses to install the module from the 07, because they said the head unit will be incompatible, which is ridiculous, as it was built in 04.

So, I got a connect vehicle tuner, which should fit right behind the head unit and solve the problem. Unfortunately, it doesn't have the correct fitting in the back to plug the tuner in, so I'm still mit out XM.

I do NOT want an aftermarket head unit in my car. I DO want SiriusXM. What can I do?
