The site migration is complete! Hopefully everything transferred properly from the multiple decades old software we were using before. If you notice any issues please let me know, thanks! Also, I'm still working on things like chatbox, etc so hopefully those will be working in the next week or two.
Saw the other thread about the note. You know, this is the internet..if you don't post a picture of the note...it didn't happen. Sorry to hear abou the delay.
Ok so its in just need to line up the trans the alignment pins are just a bit off should fire tomorrow
And it was a b1tch to get in with the trans sitting tilted toward the pas side we got it though
Down to the starter torque converter bolts and one single wire conectot that is at the back side of the engine we cant figure out what it isor where it goes
should fire up in the am fingers crossed
It lives but has a po341 cam position sensor code and a few vacuum leaks
and still has one wire not hooked up
I didnt get a pic of it but it comes off of the loom where the oil pressure sensor comes off about 3 inches or so up the loom
Its light grn grey or light blue single wire
Its old and faded so cant really tell
But it does live and when the vacuum wasnt leaking and the cam issue wasnt poped it sounded good
That connector if it is gray and has one wire needs to plug Into your knock sensor on the block. It's gonna be a b1tch because it's the one that's between the transmission housing and the motor. As far as the cam sensor, make sure it's plugged in and mounted poperly in the timing case cover. Did you make sure the cam magnet was still in the cam sprocket and all the dots on the sprockets were lined up properly before you put the housing back on?
Yea magnet is in and it was lined up right the conector is in but I guess we are going to be tearing it apart tomorrow and run through the diag tree
On the cam sensor loom theres only 1 ground right ?
It was loose and we tightened it up but the code still popped
Its not the knock sensor from what i saw its hooked up I can feel and see the conector on it
Hmm. The green connector is familiar. I'll have to take a look under my car next chance I get and see. I thought the green one was oil pressure, the gray one was vss sensor.
