LOL wife's package. For a second I thought you were going to say you blew out your back. The package I sent is 67lbs and small in size. It's misleading :cool:

Got the crank in and torqued down platigauged and reassembled and it turns like its on pads of butter no play just smooth
and installed new oil pump
Just taking in nice and slow

Tomorow the pistons should be in and good to go aswell
 
Ya im pumped up I dont know something bout working on cars I love I mean the every day stuff gets old but something like a engine build rocks

One thing i will say is the plasti_gauging on the mains was a pita The caps are a B!TCH to get in snug and back out

Got pistons all in today and the rotating assembly spins smooth and cleanly
Lots of assembly lube and heavy weight oil used

damn bloody valve covers on these things are insane they want 78 bucks a peice at the chevy dealer ship
May be getting some zzp ones my front ones shot its all chewed up
 


It still seems high Damnit
on a good note though my moroso wires were sitting on my porch when i got home and they look like some bad ass wires thanks 98gtp1000
 


Not the valve covers the actual valve cover not the gaskets
the local chevy dealership said it was each and they would have to special order one of them
 
due to intense waiting on my jp timing set to ship its looking like by the 4th of dec should be in and back on the road
had them send the cam and other goodies now and the timing set should ship on monday
 
So many haters out there The trans class is after my engines class in the same shop and some asshat from that class was messing around with my engine parts One of my group members damn near beat his ass for it cause he is in the trans class
