• The site migration is complete! Hopefully everything transferred properly from the multiple decades old software we were using before. If you notice any issues please let me know, thanks! Also, I'm still working on things like chatbox, etc so hopefully those will be working in the next week or two.

Phenolic IC ISSUES..please help. Sucking in oil cap.

Thank you for the help guys! I now understand that it must be before the throttle plate and after the maf.

Is this the same as drilling a port on the bottom on my throttle body and connecting to there instead?

Say I fix my plugged front pcv later on sometime and leave this line hooked up. Are there any ill effects?

I am lq4 maf. Stock maf is just there cut in half to seal the hole up (bought like this)

This is exactly what I was thinking but I was told other wise. Well I was half right I suppose (as I wanted to put it around my iat area)(before the maf) If you can take a look at this link. Both are acceptable? One better than the other?

Side note....do you have a sealed oil fill cap or is that partially vented with a port on the side? Which you can find at local auto parts stores. Curious.

I have one of these and it's sealed as far as letting outside air in.

You want it after the maff, like Bill said it doesn't need to be NEW air coming in. It needs to be air already circulating like normal.
