i drive a subaru. soon to drive a '54 chevy pickup. and soon thereafter to trade in my subaru on something else.

i dont see myself in another wbody for a great deal of time, if ever.
 


I think most of the people on this site are pretty realistic about what these cars are. With millions of w-bodys produced and auto parts stores full of new cheap parts and junk yards full of cheap used parts these cars will be on the road for a long time. If my car was totaled I'd be in another w-body as I need a 4 door fwd car, prefer govt motors and like knowing how to fix my car.
I enjoy the sense of community this site has, and there is a reason people stay when they move on to other cars. I've been on the S10 and Monte forums and this is hands down the best one.

hahaha, funny story, i actually saw a hellaflush miata today, couldnt get the ipod camera out quick enough :( it was sweet, other than usually when someone goes hellaflush they dont have black with a polished lip rims...w/e still looked awesome, and it was perfect around the fenders, i wanted it lol

I'm already on LS1tech, hardly post there anymore though. It's been years since I had a reason to (sold my old fbody years ago). After I got my first mustang (03 GT) it was 85% GTFO, 10% sh*t's slow, wanna race?, 5% nice stang. That's just the hate game though, I don't take an issue with the game, I just choose not to play it.

Corvette, mustang, and whatever else are a decent bunch of people.

however guys with fbodys not all of them but most think there god.

i dont know. ill have to have a few conversations with him about it to see what he is thinking. im not paying him any more than $1000 for it since ive never seen it move. hell, i hope i get a 'family discount' and get it for close to free.

lol I don't take offense so no worries. Everyone over at GMForum (use to be pontiacbonnevilleforum) use to give me crap about driving one.

Had a couple guys in mustangs call me a ***** for driving a girls car, until I out ran theyre beloved mustangs. Couple boltons and a tune allowed me to keep up with a stock ..-04 GT, but 05 gt 5spd would walk me. Was pretty quick for a 6-spd 4 banger and was so much fun to auto-x with. I want another with a supercharger :th_laugh-lol2: ... or turbo

Just wait... if billboost chimes in Im sure he will say something :P

No no, it wasn't towards you i swear, Your one of the good ones, you know the kind i mean.

i mean even when i go to meets its just awkward, Fbody guys are weird, now if i go to a mustang meet up or some other **** we get a beer and chill.

but i'll never get rid of my Z, its fun.. I just hate the fact no matter where i go or doing what, someones always trying to race me, it does get old sometimes.
 
I would have to say there are more toolbag mustang owners then fbody owners. That said, fbody owners seem to take being an asshole to a higher level. I almost got jumped at an fbody meet in texas years ago, because I showed up in my mustang GT. Nevermind that I owned a z28 previously, like 3 weeks before the meet I traded it in. Nevermind that I was INVITED by a few of my friends with fbodys. I didn't even park with all of them, I was 1 row over, the thought of a mustang parked next to their meet pissed them off bad enough to start sh*t....pitiful. Mustang owners talked plenty of sh*t about my old z28, but never did one try to fight me over it.

I could give an fbody owner a ton of compliments, and sing praises for the LS1 plateform. Only to have that same fbody owner to tell me to pretty much f*ck off, and show me a picture of his LP advertising how he eats mustangs/cobras or whatever. Aignt that right 02 WS6 TA? Lulz, More fan boys in mustangs for sure, more assholes in fbodys.
