Ok so i brought up the idea in the gagpc group of having a meet at an abandoned drag strip on the paulding/cobb county border. badazgtp suggested finding the owner and asking them and possibly having a waiver for all of us to sign stating that they werent liable for anything that happens and we were responsible for the property if they let us use it so I did some searching around and found the last person that ran the track and a myspace of people who used to go there alot that i think is run by one of the family members of the owners. now before i ask them or write up a waiver i need to see how many people would be interested in going. let me know if you would want to go.

You know I'll be there if I don't have to work. I might take it easy on ya and let you race my truck.lol!!!! We'll see about the GTP, might have to bring the GT. Depends on if all my parts come in and get put on.
 
ha speaking of the hemi trucks. raced one the other day. full exhaust with what he said was a very mild cam. not much bigger then stock. dident even really have a lope to it. i couldent get away from the damn thing on a highway run :/

Yeah, you gotta give it to them for being such heavy machines. I've been quite impressed with mine with just a intake and exhaust. I can only imagine what she'd do with a good tune.
 
we'll have another race soon on video once he changes out his valve springs. said he had to take the heads off to do it tho.
 


Work computers won't let me look at vids, so I'll have to check it out once I get home. I bet it does sound pretty good though. I just wish I had the money to do a turbo set up or even a s/c on mine.

he was talking about boring it out to a 426 but i think hes just gonna put the tuner on it now and get a project car.

he should be heading out to silver dollar race way sometime
