Paint question

I searched and could not find what I was looking for so if this is a duplicate post please combine threads or drop a link and close it off. I want to do the front and rear fascias on my 97 GTP and found the color codes (I think) of U9753 and l22 on the sticker on the car but can't locate the color codes or actual paint anywhere so far. I'd like to have some touch up on hand of the white but the other color I am going to redo the entire pieces and I'd like to keep them the same. I don't know what to call this color either, it's kinda charcoal gold and silver and grey. I had thought about going to a gloss black if i can't keep original fascia color. I have not been able to figure out how to post larger pics but I created an album and you can see better pics of the car and the rear fascia to see the color. I am going to be ordering reflective or regular red inlays from reflective concepts soon, Matt over there has samples otw to me now. Any help or suggestion would be great, thanks!

lemme say this, the 9753 is bright white...ive found that duplicolors color match touch up does not match this at all, its more vanilla than what youll see on our cars. the lower fascia you wont find a touch up for. my suggestion is to go to a paint shop and have them match something to put in a spray can for ya.

Code or name or anything that will help me find it so I could obtain it locally. I called a Chevy/Gmc dealer here and the guy at the body shop there has a 99GTP and he said that GM did a poor job listing accent color codes especially on the very early 97 GTP's. Based on my Vin the computer system he uses only show my car as White but my tag says BC/CC and is followed by U9753 and l22 it's the l22 that is the problem I guess as that number should be 3 or 4 digits like the U code is. Thanks

FVCK the Stealerships apparently that guy doesnt know that all the fascias are the same on the 97-03.

Call a paintshop!!! :)

I started there. I called the big two here that supply to most of the lots here and they said there was 6 different color possibilities of the fascias and suggested I call a GM dealer so I am now chasing my tail.

6 different colors or 6 different charcoal greys? I have a hard time believeing 6 different charcoal greys. Id just pic one and redo the whole lower fascia front and back if you do it right who in the hell is ever going to notice? I highly doubt someones going to say thats not the right color grey!

LMAO @ me! I am kind of color blind and they all have always looked pretty close to me but if they are all a charcoal grey I will just pick one and do both like you suggested, thanks.

One more question and this is more looking for opinions. I am going to keep my wheels as I like them, clear the corners with stealth bulbs and tint the tails. I am making the engine bay white/red/black and getting red inlays for front and back bumpers. Would you guys keep the charcoal grey or go to gloss black on the fascias? Just looking for opinions. Thanks!

Oh and I will be polishing the tips asap too. I know they look like poop now

mines black but it was white to start with not grey
