i was told that the front and rear o2 sensor are the same one. is that true?

Rock auto lists 2 differnt parts codes for direct fit replacments in each brand so im going with there not the same

they are COMPLETELY different. the rear one is only there to monitor the post-cat emissions and does nothing to help tune the car. the front one is what the car needs to run.
