Also, I'm still working on things like chatbox, etc so hopefully those will be working in the next week or two.

overkill pcm

I get whats going on with his personal life and what not. But all i was saying is now people are saying he is confirming shipped orders with them and some have received their pcms. Yet i ordered this pcm over 2 months ago and tried making appts with him to meet in person. Still nothing. It just becomes frustrating you know

So why are people still giving him their business. I'm not trying to trump his customer service but hey his track record gets worse by the day. I'm buying a dhp pcm until I can get my car to brunswick and go custom tune. I'm not waiting months for a pcm just because of the word overkill.

Just got mine, it was packaged nice but it was dirty as hell, looks like it was sitting outside for 10 years, he should of cleaned it.

ya i wish i would have went another route. Sitting here with 270 invested and yet nothing to show for it is a let down lol. Hopefully i get it sometime soon if everyone else is getting theirs. Boostedgtp when did you place your order?

Works great! Well worth the money. i had a zzp 1.0 pcm a few years ago in my old gtp and i believe the overkill pcm is much better.

seems really hit n miss with quality and service kinda sucks sounds like when you get a good one its great and the others are sol

Anyone in northeast/northwest Ohio should skip the canned tunes,

I'll personally be having my gtp custom tuned here, www.Big3Racing.net

They use HP Tuners, I'm just going to save the $100 for a canned tuned and put it towards my custom tune. I don't have 2,3,4 weeks/months to wait for someone to send out a pcm. I guess I'm just lucky that the shop is only an hr away. I would've never known anything about them if I didn't go there to have my friends supercharged prelude tuned a few days ago. I'm pretty impressed with these guys, they have their ASE certification and NATEF certification. Bob Hess has his Master ASE certification he did the dyno tuning on my friends prelude. Check out their website they pretty much do everything.

They only charged my friends dad $300 for almost 6 hrs of tuning. Normally they charge $125 per/hr, for some reason they were in a good mood that night. I'd imagine I could walk out of there with complete custom tune for under $350. I don't think I'm going to even put a canned tune in my car after reading all these horror stories

Technically no one should get a canned PCM and get a dyno/street tune but thats not an option for everyone. So lets keep this thread on topic and NOT talk about street/dyno tunes.

wow boosted your lucky :( i want my tunee! mine was such an old order it probably got thrown behind all of these new ones. such crap.

i'm sorry dude :( he does have a number to call, idk if it would cost you much to call but i would give it a shot

Well things are looking better. He emailed me today and told me the PCM was shipped yesterday before 5. UPS doesnt ship to PO boxes and that was the address i gave him thinking he would send it Canada post. Either way it should be in transit now and hopefully be here after the long weekend! :)
