I have a 1997 GTP 2 door and I'm going to re paint the car this summer,I want to go custom with it but not over the top and really flashy. I'm thinking a nice silver metallic with blue or red accents/graphice but I'm open to suggestions,I wanna be original but not too over the top with it.

this is my car as it sits now. Should I paint the rims too??? going to completely debadge the car to clean it up more
 
what about accenting them the same color as the second color on the car on the sides and inbetween the spokes and painting the rest black
 


id just go all black but thats just me... plus you cant go wrong with all black rims on a red car and you might not like the three different colors
 
I'm not real sure what i wanna do yet,I like the way they look now but I'm always open to ways to make them look better,any ideas for color options on the car? I want to do a custom job that's enough to get noticed but suttle enough to not be one of those paint jobs that are like HEY LOOK AT ME!!!!!!! you know what I mean? I want something thats clean and looks good but isnt begging for attention
 
Silver, Black, and almost any tone of blue have been what I usually look for paint wise on a car. I'd keep the rims the way they are, silver 5 spokes provide a nice clean and sporty look to cars IMO.
 


As far as the color for the car I think a nice green or blue would look killer. Or the blue that comes on the 04 special editions with a silver flake in it.
 
i kinda wanna go with a charcoal grey metallic base and then do a candy blue metallic two tone but candy paint is expensive as hell lol
 
it is actually,I think I'm gonna go for a blue/silver or silver/blue combo. would regular racing stripes look good on my car?
 


idk but i love how they look on my car,maybe I'll lower it a couple inches this summer too. I think that might look good
 
personally not a big fan of stripes. I'm a simple guy with simple taste.

I'm partial to white cars because I love the color...if I had the option I'd have a white prix.
