Opinions on 97-03 vs 04+ models

Ive got a 97 gt and love it, i like the body style of that gen better than the 04 but every person i ever ask says the 04+ gen looks alot better, was just wondering if anybody agreed with me or if not then why< just curious lol
 


Beauty is in the eye of the beholder. I personally like 97-03's more because those flared fenders.
 
I just like them better cause the body is nicer in my opinion, i think the 04+ is a little girly but i would definitely still drive one
 
I have a 2000 gt maroon and an 2004 gtp white and I like my gtp's body better but only because its dressed up better then my gt, I think it kinda depends on what you plan on doing with the body's
 
Yeah I guess, I dunno I just like the look of mine better, once its time to get another which is hopefully not for a year or so Im currently stuck on another 97-03 or the 04+ or a g6
 


04+ may have been built better or higher quality or whatever.. But the 97-03 look WAY WAY sportier...
 
Ive heard it described like this: Go with an '03 if you like a cute face, go with an '04 if you like a nice ass.

I personally prefer the body style of the 97-03, I do like the way the front looks. That, and you get a REAL odometer, not one stuffed into the DIC, seems way too easy to hack. The grille from 04 on just looks goofy IMO. The rest of the car looks sharp though.
 


Stock 97-03 looks way cooler than stock 04+ on the outside. However 04+ is a lot more comfortable and enjoyable to drive. But change up the front of the 04+ and and some different tips, and it's better looking than 97-03.

So you think its easier to hack a DIC than it is to roll back an odometer? 8/

Here's my take. I like the 97-03 simply because coupes look fantastic. Though an 04+ with a lip and dropped looks tits.

Im surprised no one has mentioned anything about the GXP. The front end of a gxp is probably my favorite.
