Yeah, I've seen guys do that before. The 3rd and 4th gen f-bodies both end up with that treatment a lot. At no point do I think anyone should cut a hatch to get to the pump (since the tunnel you have to cut is actually a specifically designed bulkhead to save you from the tank of explosive material), but if you did cut a hatch, that's not how you do it.

There is a Sig, and I'll give you a hint or two- Sledgehammer, and he was killed due to a Pro Stock Cobalt accident. It's also had a ridiculous amount of Extrude hone run thru it. It's sentimental. ;)
