Obama

i think ur full of sheet

we all are! however for real, if your co-workers kept giving you crap at work, because your companies numbers didnt look right from the day you were hired, and on your desk was paper, scattered everywhere from the person who was there before you, and his books were messed up, and files not in the right spot, is it Fiar of them to reem you out, when you have a lot of clean up to do first before you move foward? i think you would be pissed, hell i would be, thats why i keep a clean desk! :th_king-normal::th_peaceout:

thats just a theory to look at the government and the econemy...me, I look at it thats he's doing things that presidents never done before, does that make his choices wise, No! The things he's doing is no-where near helping me and my family nor as the family's of America. He took something I thought no-one could from me....PONTIAC, and for that, i'll never forgive him!!!:th_sign-protest:

oh god give it up, he didnt take pontiac away GM did, GM is the company that failed and if it wasnt for the bail out he urged GM would be done, it was stated above, the mistakes GM made were made by GM no one else, it was GM's decision to Cut pontiac blame General Motors not Obama, its like blaming the Fat kid for eating all the ice cream when he wasnt even at the party! and again as i stated above, we all want answers and things done NOW to change the economy its not gonna happen over night, or even in a years time, give it time,

Hey, remember how Obama was supposed to take all the guns? Then how come someone still managed to walk into the Holocaust museum and shoot someone?

Show me how much gun regulation has been passed. Remember all the registries and all the gun seizures that were supposed to occur? My wife still has both her handguns, and has shot in to matches, no problems. The best thing for the NRA and gun shops is a Democrat in the White House, so they can scare all the idiots into thinking the world is coming to an end and the 2nd Amendment will be revoked.

I was laid off in 2000 and 2002. So was it Clinton's fault in 2000, and Bush's fault in 2002?

And be happy you have the option for COBRA. Before Clinton, you lost you job, you lost your insurance. At least COBRA gives you the option to keep what you had for 18 months. I'm glad I had COBRA after layoff #2, since my wife was pregnant at the time. I don't think I could have come up with the scratch to cover a delivery.

And please, tell me. What did George W. Bush PERSONALLY do for you in his 8 years in office?

yes because that is what the president does, he knocks on EVERYSINGLE persons door and says, Excuse me...how may i improve your life? the what have you done for me latley bit is gettin old, what has obama done for me? hes trying to get **** in line, thats what hes doing, bush got rich off his oil pipe line hes got flowing under his ranch, thats what he did for every american in 8 years, not saying he did all the wrong things, he made us all realize that even a moron can become president,Crazy Mike the homeless guy around smithtown can even run, and he chases people around with a wrench, :) but thats besides the point, the one thing that no one gets is Nothing will be felt right away, Obama could draft a bill for World Peace, and wait on congress to approve, or changes need to be made blah blah, everyone grilling obama because change hasent happend or been felt yet is F'in horrible, rome wasnt built in a day, our cars didnt roll out of the factory with 350hp, took people time to make them that way, and it even took that guy GOD 7 days to create the universe, so yeah things take time like it or not, if you want a world with fast results and time, play Everquest or W.o.W:th_bangheadonwall::th_chairshot::th_thumbsup-wink:

Keeping your job after a deployment has been a law for a lot longer than GWB's term. Sailor Soldier Relief Act was passed in 1940 - FDR, a Democrat!

my bad u r right but he did this:

Because of the ongoing deployment of U.S. Armed Forces overseas and the call-up of members of the reserves and National Guard, in December 2003 Congress enacted the "Servicemembers Civil Relief Act The Servicemembers Civil Relief Act (formerly called the Soldiers' and Sailors' Civil Relief Act) is a United States federal law that protects soldiers, sailors, airmen, and marines from being sued while in active military service of their country. " (SCRA SCRA South Carolina Research Authority
SCRA Sprint Car Racing Association
SCRA Servicemembers Civil Relief Act of 2003
SCRA Securities Contract Regulation Act (Indian law)
SCRA Scottish Countryside Rangers Association ).

The act completely replaced the Soldier's and Sailor's Relief Act of 1940. The statute applies both in times of peace and war, and it addresses a variety of subjects. Owners and managers need to be aware of the requirements of the SCRA, the recent amendments to it and the NAA NAA

Nomina Anatomica Avium. Lease changes flowing from it. This is especially important when owners face:

* The sudden move-out of a resident because of military deployment Military deployment is the movement of armed forces and their logistical support infrastructure. In most of the world's navies, a deployment designates an extended period of duty at sea. , permanent change of station, reservist re·serv·ist
n.
A member of a military reserve.

a member of a nation's military reserve or National Guard call-up, voluntary enlistment, military draft or release from active duty;

* the failure of military residents to pay their rent; or

* an eviction The removal of a tenant from possession of premises in which he or she resides or has a property interest done by a landlord either by reentry upon the premises or through a court action. of military residents or their dependents.

In late 2004, a year after enacting the SCRA, Congress amended the act. On Dec. 10, 2004, President George W. Bush signed those amendments into law. The amendments provided that lease termination by a servicemember automatically terminates the lease for a dependent who may have also signed the lease. The amendments also require any waiver of the SCRA by a servicemember to be in a separate document and in 12-point type.

george bush also did right was giving more humanitarian aid to Africa than any other U.S. President.

bush signed the legislation that outlawed partial-birth abortion.

this doesnt pertain to my family but he did something of good needs

Fair enough. I'd like to point out a small piece of legislation that GWB also signed, that NO ONE seems to bring up:

Bush's Opium Boom

Do a search on "May 17, 2001 george bush taliban" in your search engine of choice. Scary stuff.

I never said GWB didn't do anything good. But folks like to pin all the bad that happens to them in the past six months on the Presidency of Obama. Was it all skittles and rainbows for those folks the 8 years previous?

Cheney had a heart attack and died years ago and a robot has taken his place...Palin is really Miss Teen South Carolina and Bush is in all actually a very well dressed Ape. And yes...Nader 2012...any questions?

JK btw.

And everyone says 9/11 wasn't planned and known about...gimme a break.

that is some scary stuff about bush, working with the enemy...

back on topic, everyone knows, theres more poor to middle class then their is higher class...more poor and middle class smoke than upper classmen. I've also heard a rumor that obama smokes? we'll he's suppost to be helping the lower and middle classmen, why would he raise cigarette taxes? and shutting down pontiac, is loss in thousands of jobs. I just dont see how thats going to help the economey get back on its feet and produce more jobs? they way I see it, he's digging a deeper hole. Insted of getting some of these companies to stop moving and stay in the U.S.

and now that government motors have took over and trashed pontiac, there's no need for me to ever buy a GM again...

And by not closing Pontiac, which has only ONE vehicle that is really different from GM or Toyota, how was that going to make GM better? Honestly, Ford has it the right way - three levels of cars. Trucks/entry level, mid-range, and final Luxury. There is absolutely no reason to have GMC, either. Heck, Toyota and Nissan are showing you only need two brands of vehicles, and they are doing quite well.

If GM wanted Pontiac to survive, THEY should have made the Pontiac brand different from Chevy or Buick. But they were cookie cutter cars, and the GX naming scheme was a mistake. They should have kept their names as is. Folks walking into a Pontiac dealer want a Grand Prix or a Grand Am, not a G8 or G6. If the GX naming scheme was so important, why didn't Buick or Chevy embrace it?

but ford has one decently fast car, the mustang. If you ask me, ford's lineup is no better than scion's lineup. thats y I hate ford, cause their cars suck. Atleast pontiac had good luxury with some performance and great styling...

Well put. The only GM brand that differed really was Saturn, not the fastest but quality sporty, and it did well, even tho its being Shed it still exists as its own again,
