You got a damn good point Jess, I agree for sure. And there are many who voted for him specfically because they wanted to see a black president in the office. Color shouldn't matter but it does to some people out there unfortuneitly.
Damn right and no matter what there will always be diversity in this world...I;ve always gawked at the world peace thing. Never...ever will that happen. All these people trying in vain too...kinda makes me laugh...is that bad? Everyone got their chance to vote too and the US spoke. All those that voted Democrat, you won...good for you. All of those that voted opposite...sorry, better luck next time. I'm voting Nader, 2012. Suck it. Green Party FTGDMFW!! jkThat is just how the game goes, like it or not. So if you don't...please, go to Wal-Mart and buy a box of the extra soft puffs for your pansy-ass tears...oh...and a pressure washer to get all the sand out of your vagina for griping so much for the past two pages.
:th_shakinghead2:
But please...feel free to continue:th_thumbsup-wink:
well if i had a dollar for all the stupida$$ obama shirts, i could geta nice turbo kit. i live in the deep south, work in a hospital and i hear this alot "i'm glad he's in officce so i's dont has to wurk so hard." they thought they were going to get a free ride but it didn't happen,,,,only in officce because of color....but then again, pelosi and all th other bastards are ruinning it too.

What about all the white people that voted the other way just because Obama was Black?
I know many of them that voted for McCain just for that reason... and there were plenty of them
This is crazy to me. I'm black, I did not vote for obama simply because he's BLACK. Some people did, most people didn't. Every black person in the US could have voted for obama and it wouldn't have meant shyt becuz there wouldn't have been enough votes, so there where a ton of white people who voted for obama. I voted for obama because I felt like he would do the best job, NOT based on the color of his freggin skin. If obama made a speech and talked like this " izza wanza do some thangs fo amer-eye-ka soze weze can put our friends on and buy 20 inch rims fo our grand preees" I would NOT have voted for his az, neither would have the MAJORITY of AMERICANS. I teach my children not to look at color, judge people on personality. No matter who was in office, they had one hell of a job to do. No things aren't going as smooth as people expected, but he's a freegin HUMAN, not some voodoo prince of fkn darkness that's gonna wave a magic wand and poof!, 100 days later we all good! If a black person thought by voting for obama meant free chicken wednesday's, and an extended black history month they are idiots. I don't know, or have heard a single person who thought that. NO ONE HAS EXPERIENCE BEING THE PRESIDENT, UNTIL THEY ARE PRESIDENT. He has high hopes, which is fine. He has to deliver on some of the stuff he's saying hell do, but its gonna take time. A lot longer than 100 days. Sorry if you thought it was gonna be a miracle turn around for the us. PEOPLE voted for obama because they feel like they are tired of the same ol white house 2 step, and try something different, and to witness history. Now if it blows up in our faces, so be it. But its not gonna be a cake walk no matter who sits in the white house.
I like the bottom part of this paragraph, it is true. I understand the time thing but I must throw this in there, sh1T is fw***ed up right now...personally I voted for mccain, i'm not all politics. I know mccain is a POS but I didn't wanna vote for someone with fantasy visions that won't happen in this country. I'm 80% vote for republican in 2012 already. but nice job explaining some issues there bigtmane :th_thumb-up:
And McCain didn't??? I followed this election closer than I've ever followed any election, and I followed the Bush vs Gore election really really close. I hated Bush and I hated Kerry so that election I didn't care about. John McCain was by far the WORST flip flopper in the entire election. That goes for every single person that ran, including Stephen Colbert, who to be honest I think would make a great President. Everything McCain stood for before he started his campaign, and there was a lot, he completely went the other way in the election and tried to be more "democratic."
Obama played the "change" card like no other. In his debates at times he didn't even debate, just said we need change. However, he did not flip flop that much. Truly, what really put the nail in the coffin was the halftime show where he talked about changing the BCS system to a playoff system in College Football. McCain said they needed to rid steroids in Baseball. Baseball is doing it's job in ridding them. It's actors, actresses, and WWE Wrestlers that need to have the testing done.
Nobody knows what Obama really is. If he's not from this country, who cares? Is he really Christian? He could be Muslim. I don't care! Just get the job done. He actually appointed a good cabinet, so if they do all the work for him I'd be happy with that. I still wish he could have got Warren Buffet on the tab though.
**** Republicans! What happened to the separation of Church and State? They preach God like no other! So people want to say that Blacks voted for Obama because he was Black. Many did, and he aimed for that. Great campaign move, but what about the Republicans who hardcore push for the Religious people? Mainly Catholics! Whats the difference if Christians, who make up roughly 14% of the voting population, equal to the 14% of Black Americans that voted, only voted for McCain because he was Baptist, or Episcopalian, or Catholic? Oh wait... no one knew what religion he was. He wouldn't tell anyone. The Catholics thought he was Catholic. The Episcopalians thought he was Episcopalian, and the Baptists thought he was Baptist. He played the same damn cards just not in a race fashion.
Republicans preach God and Murder entire countries for prehistoric bull****!
By the way, the Bush Administration didn't send this country into a recession. They only helped. The country did get out of a 3 trillion dollar debt over an 8 year span under the Clinton Administration, however Clinton happened to look great because of the dot com boom!. The recession is because the Clinton Administration wanted everyone to live the American Dream. Families making under $50,000 a year could get loans to buy $500,000 homes. The Bush Administration didn't do that, but they did help throw money away. The first year of Bush's term we were back in debt by 3 trillion, again!!! We were in debt since the Cold War, a legit debt to get into. We got out of debt, and went right back in it. The Iraq War is the first war in the history of the United States that we didn't make money off of. Why? Because we didn't expand technology. They claimed they did, but our troops are running around with ****ty M16's that jam all the time on them. They give them crappy Kevlar. They were not taken care of, and it shows. They claim they use M4's now, and some do, but most don't. Why is the American Oil Driller in Iraq making $10,000 a day and the troops guarding him making less than minimum wage? US Military also houses and gives food to the Oil Drillers. What is this money really being spent on?
Seriously, no President is going to be perfect. No Congress, no House, no Cabinet will be either. It's a little over 100 days in. This world has so many issues and it will take a lot of time to fix, if it ever gets fixed. Whether or not you agree or disagree with the way the Administration is handling GM, Chrysler, AIG, etc. we are still moving in the right direction. We may go down more, but we eventually will go up. There will be many new American jobs while this Administration is in office. I just hope people don't make their final decision on who they're electing next over the first 100 days of mayhem.
The only thing i can add to this AMAZING statment is everyone expects things to come immdiately, the first day the guys in office people are already screaming hes not doing the right thing. He has an 8 year train wreck to clean up, for the first 100 days i think hes doing pretty good, He came in at a bad time for the US, and everyone will nit pick, give him some time, i think he will be one of the best presidents our nation has ever had.
