I was in my trans class planning my engine build while tearing down some kids turbo-400 trans and i look behind me and i have bout 12 guys listening in and doubting it can be done for under 2500
Now its my mission
And I do have a TEP trans in the works

Now i know in any group of people there are going to be haters but damn
now theres a little pressure to really make it happen...:D

plus our instructor said out of every 5 people who bring cars in only 1 actually drives it out :th_nervous:

I may have to cheat and use a little go fast gas along with my alky set up lol

pulley drop to a 3.2 maybe
42# injectors
and all the other basic stuff plugs wires tstat
maybe a zex kit as well

Trans, Cam + springs, Headers and blower + alky and maybe injectors = 12's.

That's my setup, and it's even got a 2.8 on it.

I plan on pulling my system and only running a little over a 1/4 tank in gas
the spare stuff like that but other then that not much

If i get it in the 12's my next goal will be 10's and will be turbo and take a long time to finish lmao

Or maybe put a little more attention into my crown vic it would be nice to have it in the 13's but that will take a turbo set up for sure

Once I start building and making horsepower its addicting
Im even looking at my c30 wondering what i can do with it :th_flamingdevil:
 
ofcourse I probably wont even try it but Im always triing to out due my self
if i ever wanted into that bracket I would start with a very different platform

Im just a complete car junkie is all if it wasnt for havin a wife and kids id probably have a nice 2 bedroom house on a couple achers with a fully loaded garage that was 5 times bigger then the house
 




I was actually hoping to find a set of slicks on craigs considering theres almost always a set mounted on some mustang rims for sale
I just dont know how much i want to invest in slicks considering this car may only see the track a few times a year.
