Northeastern exhaust systems

I'm looking to use a catback exhaust system for my 2005 GTP from UPSW/Giant Exhaust/Time Auto Parts/Northeastern Exhaust. Any experiences?

It is advertised as 409 SS, mandrel bent. System cost is ~$500.

There are many very positive comments for the systems, in general, but not any specifically for a Grand Prix dual exhaust for a GTP.
There are also considerable remarks about missing parts, bent parts, Walker pipes (I'm assuming these are aluminized steel) and mismatched pipe sizes (although these complaints may have to do with partial exhaust replacement).

My factory exhaust has just started to leak, now in 2026 - great quality.

Follow up: The system is pretty nice. It fit well, although not perfect without tweaking. Tips appear to be high grade stainless steel (not magnetic); the rest is 409, mandrel bent. I recommend it for the average to mild enthusiast. I'll see how long it lasts although I did paint it with Rustoleum 2000'F ceramic clear. ~$500, Giant Exhaust.

Surprisingly, the factory exhaust, while looking rusty, was in very good shape except for the one hole that I was not finding while on the car - it was at an added heat shield spot weld, and that is what was making all the noise. Mufflers' interior must have been all rusted out since it could hear all the loose material.

Those sites/kits look kinda sketch to me. If you plan on keeping the car then don't cheap out on the exhaust.

I'd either go for the ZZP catback (just supply your own mufflers), or find a factory take off in good shape. I would think anything from 04+ would be the same.

Thanks, Fordman. Login to the site was botched when I replied before. I didn't want to spend that much, and this system is pretty good, as described above.
