Also, I'm still working on things like chatbox, etc so hopefully those will be working in the next week or two.

Noob budget question!

Dont get me wrong... Gps arent the fastest cars out dere, technicalky its the fastest car I ve owned...but gps
For a family sized grocery getter/economical car, id say THEY DID DERE THING. The first civic to every impress me was like 2011 (stock form) so dere sum 7 yrs behind the gp on performance... not only that but a grand in mods is cam/header setup
On grand prix if u can wrench yourself... Im sure a civic isnt keeping up for that price

I will agree with you there. GTP's are the cheapest thing ever to mod to 13's as long as you have 18" wheels and lower. lol im just keeping the spirit of the thread alive.

:sly::sly::sly:

Bill - the big question here is what the hell kind of motor is it? The ad lists it as a 3.8 F1 super engine...what the hell is that??? lol
Well a vast majorty of people can't type and are not very swift...
So let me break it down for those who can't understand the ignorant.
3.8 F1 super engine = 3.8 F.I.(Fuel Injected) super(charged)
Got to learn how to read between the lines these days...

The Z28 LS1 Camaro is looking good too. I'm gonna avoid the F1 super engine.
Now it comes down to the Z28, GTP G6, and the Grand prix. decisions decisions...

I agree with that statement since I'm 19 years old have had 3 cars and when I get my hands on a v8 it's over my moms truck has a hemi I almost wrecked it twice trying to race people. Once during a burnout it's just a bad idear

It's top heavy and I can kick the ass end loose while going down the road when it drops a couple gears that and I manually shift it

Yeah one dude in my school parking lot, did a WOT in his firebird the rear slipped almost fished tailed into a fence lol.

People are saying an LS1 is a suicide trap for someone my age.
They have a point. If it were a weekend car that you only planned to race at the track, an LS1 would be a good idea. Since you seem set on racing Civics from stoplight to stoplight, I would start with the Grand Prix GTP. You can learn how to work on cars, take it to the track on occasion, and it will be more comfortable as a daily driver when you get your license back after losing it for street racing. I say that as someone that was in your shoes. I got a 99 Regal GS at age 17 and thought I would be safe. I ended up getting in trouble for speed contest, which is a misdemeanor.

My conclusion is that if you want a quick car that makes a good daily driver, a GTP is an excellent choice. You can learn small modifications on that and may end up modding further. I recommend staying as far away from racing on the street as possible. It may seem glamorous now, but you could either get in trouble with the law and hurt your future job prospects or end up hurting yourself or others.

Thank you for the wise words. I just want a car. That looks decent.Has a nice.comfortable interior. That's a little "quick" just a daily driver that I can have some fun with and learn off of. Where I live we have a huge abandoned land with only paved roads and dirt roads. With some twistys cops don't usually go out there. So it would be where I would have my fun and learn how to.do some more aggressive driving :)

I'm joining the Marines. After I graduate so I wouldn't have it for more than 2 years. What are some other cars you guys would recommend beside the GP. That share similar chariestics that can be fun and tweaked up with some mods? I wanna look around the whole market before setting down my Benjamin's haha..
