Had a couple run-in's daily'in the GXP recently instead of the Honda...because it has no AC.

Ran at least an intake/exhaust 04+ supercharged car from a 60~, was actually pretty decent...GXP needs much better gearing...so lame having one gear go a billion MPH, had that thing by a couple cars by 120~.

Ran a first generation Charger 5.7...sounded like doodoo, probably straight piped, bigger wheels, all murdered out, did a dig. By 80~ had a solid car.

Was however blown completely off the road by a Audi RS5...raced for S&G's, those things sound amazing. Do want.

The end.

Boring.

This car is slow for a V8.

to the op, for what ever reason i thought a gxp was gods gift to man in terms of a grand prix, only to be marginally satisfied. I put the magnaflow cat back on and its just lacks the v8 grrrrrr!!!! i was expecting. I can barely walk away from my brothers kia optima turbo.

Screw mods for the gxp mod the better engine in the other turd........

3.8 will never compare to a lsx. The dyno at my work sees 1000+hp lsx's all the time. Hmmm..... we have never had a 3.8 on it since ive worked there (2010)

3.8 is cheaper for sure compared to a lsx. A first gen sbc 350 is also cheaper but but in terms of capability and reliability........

Never seen a 1000hp w body so way to keep it on track here.. Fwd vs rwd is about as apple to oranges are you can get for comparison.

3800 parts are cheaper and cheaper to mod thats all my point was the ls4 is the bastard child of the ls engines anyways.

How many ls4's do you see with over 350whp?

For a gm fwd the 3800 would be way easier than the ls4

Now in a rwd platform sure ls everything.

Don't worry, with muh parts I'm collecting over the winter...the motor will be pulled and revamped for spring.

Then tax returns will build the trans.

I'm cool with that. Heads/cam/intake/TB/full exhaust and a bump in compression should help it see well past 350WHP.

Turbo GTP project is just that; a project. It's going to get gutted and ran blower only for a time being...until a small corn/snail setup will suffice. Just something along with the GXP is all. And I don't care about the body/looks of it, either.

It needs quite a bit of TLC anyways (258,4xx~ and a couple passenger side acciDENTS), I probably won't start on it until this winter either when I find some space to really dive into it.
