Hello there! I am new to buying rims/tires so any advice will help. I have a 2004 Grand prix GT1. I have seen alot of these years with 22" rims on them and was wondering how complicated or bad that might be. Ive done some reading around here and understand that the 04's and up have bigger wheel wells than older models. Has anyone here tried 22"s? Do I have to lift? Any advice would help! Thanks!!!!
 


22s are going to be reaching hard without having to lift the car or run rubber band tires.

i would honestly just stick with 20s. it looks much cleaner and you can still lower the car.
 
Actually you can run a 22 as long as its is no wider than a 9" wide wheel and you will have to run a 245/30/22 tire and use spring locks. You might have to trim the front plastic as well but sometimes you can get away with it.
