I just rode in a s2000 a few weeks back. Has an Amuse body kit, looks hideous. Going to have to check your pics when I get home from work. Other than that its a nice car though. There was a stock yellow one that was racing us and it looks pure sex.
 
This is what I think.... 2001 s2000 had the F20c in it which was the 2.0 DOHC V-Tech... it redlines above 9,000. He goes and sticks in a 2005 f22c which is the 2.2 which produces the same horsepower but redlines at 8,000 rpms. I think he took the f20 to put in that white civic u see in one of the motor on the floor pics because the f20 is a more desirable motor due to the higher redline. Just maybe!
 
Im not crazy about these cars but i cannot say i hate them because they don't really look that bad and yours is really clean. I know you want to keep it stock but i think this would look realllllly good.
