Car was converted back to auto because the Trans was shot and I could only find 1 more in the us and it just wasn't worth it to keep going.

I knew the 5 speed wouldn't last long. Sucks that you had to go through all that crap. Congrats on the Speed 3 though. I must ask...why no RWD or AWD choice?

I enjoy fwd, its different, I like a challenge, things people dont expect. Idk i just dont want to be another one of those subaru or evo guys. And it feels that much better when you **** on them in a fwd car. Oh yea plus winter in regards to rwd. People push these trannies to 800 whp. To be honest im sick of transmissions lol.

I dont regret anything. I learned alot from this platform and i did things people haven't done, atleast not on my gen.

If you do anything to the speed make sure you do fuel pump internals first, or you'll zzb.

Im registered on the mazdaspeedforums, Ive never seen a community use so many acronyms in my life.

Congrats on the mazda man, sucks about the comp g tho. I referenced some of your 5 speed swap stuff on here for my own getrag swap a while back, sad to see it go, was a nice ride.

Quick little pull. Car has more in it once i clean valves. For those that dont know these cars, valve cleaning is general maintenance every 15k or so because they gum up like crazy. Im looking at easily another 20-30 whp from cleaning them because they have never been done in 108k. Also new plugs are going in tomorrow.
Also missed 3rd lol because the shift linkage is worn to **** so that will be taken care of tomorrow aswell.

So far things done to car

Brakes all the way around
control arms
rear sway bar links
balance all 4 tires
brand new front and rear glass cus both were cracked
1/2 can seafoam oil
filled with rotella 5w40
wix xp filter
1 1/2 can seafoam in gas
1 can seafoam in throttle body (smoked like a mother****er)
swapped plugs from originals with ngk ix

Cars tone completely changed, used to idle around 1k now it purs at 800

This weekend i will rip off intake manifold and make the valves look like new aswell
as swap trans fluid with motorcraft xt-m5-qs and adjust shift linkage, flush power steering fluid and clutch fluid
