hi guys and gals,

im new to the forum. just picked up a 97 gtp for very cheap. i have never really messed with these cars to much so i figured i would give it a shot.i bought mine as a project,needs a new #1 piston.......very hard to find one, so i figured i would join a forum and see if anyone had a piston and rod for sale?.....
 


welcome to the forum... just my opinion though if it already needs a piston you might as well rebuild the whole thing

yea i was thinking the same thing, but i want to buy another complete motor and go threw it(bearings,rings,rods,pistons,porting ect) and still be able to drive this around town if needed in the process...
 


Good to know, I'm in the Columbus and head through that way often whenever I make trips to visit family in Findlay.
