Springs, seals, retainers, etc for the cam
Full size intercooler

LQ4 Maf
ZZP CNC heads
Stupid small pulley
Race Trans w/ 3.29s
Keepin my ssac's unless you guys think i need bigger
Some sorta catback

Whatcha think? Gimme your advice :th_king-evil:

i dislike turbos. yes they make more power. i just dont like them. never have never will. i like my blower lol

hmmm..well cars going into the shop tomorrow to get my cat installed..we shall see.

im getting 15 ****ing mpg with this failing stock POS

Should have just gotten a ZZP Catted Downpipe...better performance, MPG's, and a non-clogged cat.

As for the build...its up to you fish, its your car. Like Nick says and I'll say...what do you want it to do? a mean as fudge street car or a track bastard?

Heads, DIY them...or buy Selliot's...he has a set of stage 4 IR heads for sale sitting around 1500 IIRC...if I had the money for those and not invested into the L67's I got right now...I'd get em. Also...ARP everything...rod bolts, main studs, head studs, and even header bolts IMO...if your gonna do it...get it done right the first time and don't skimp.

haha, i may be taking the stock road for my car, which is why i went with just the magnaflow cat. Less performance mods the better...maybe?

thank you :D.

as far as what i want. it'll be a weekend car. it needs to be "somewhat" streetable. but a track bastard as well.

this isnt gonna be a quick build by far. its gonna be expensive, and im planning on at least a year to get it all done. save up, and go slow.

also i have a "different" approach for the trans. its still gonna be an auto, but its not gonna be a 4t65e, gotta talk to trannyman about the details of my plan.

My list...shooting like-a so...

You want a Gen V, IC'd car...

Jinny Five
ZZP Stage 2 IC with the biggest FMHC you can get (IIRC stage 3?)
Ported LS1 TB
SLP High Flow MAF (85mm)
ARP Head/Rod/Mains
Clevite Cam/Main/Rod Bearings
Double Roller w/ Machined gear and oil pump cover
Stage 3 Intense Cam (or whatever...I say IS3 because you want it somewhat streetable)
Heads...of whatever kind...but...hogged out
Manley #130's
Manley Titanium Retainers
Manley Oversized I/E Valves
Viton Seals
Comp Locks
Lucas #42.5 injectors (unless you wanna run E85 and use #65's...thats your call)
ZZP Fuel Logs
Keep the SSAC's...
Get a HP Tuners Suite
Triple Edge transmission street/strip tranny (just the basic one unless you want more) w/ 3.29's...WIN
PRJ wires
AL103's
ZZP MPS...which you prolly have...and get some tiny pullies...like a 2.55", 2.6", 2.7", etc.

Catback...whatever you want...it really doesn't matter anyways...intake...OPEN CONE YOU KNOW THAT! T-Stat...I run a 160*...but what do I know. Nick hates them. Hell, maybe even run offset roller rockers with the IS3...Jason (Farnsworth) runs 1.7's on the intake IIRC...and he has an IS3 and #130's.

catbacks gonna be homemade. if my brother's tubing bender can crank out a roll cage for his mustang, pretty sure it'll bend me up a catback.

PRJ fuel rails, not zzp.
If he gets back into like he said hes trying to, itll be a PRJ intercooler as well....unless my deal comes through for the ZZP stage 2.
