New 2007 GP GXP

I found a new GXP, 2007, no build sheet yet. They say they'll take under 20 grand for it.
Good deal?
New car, never titled. Purple Haze.

How many miles on it? KBB.com and NADA.com are excellent sources to find out the absolute maximum you should even consider paying for the car. Took the liberty of looking at NADA.com for you, and they have a max retail for that model of $15,700 if the car has zero mileage.

but think about how and if your ever thinking about modding it in the future. . . and the insurance vs the insurance on a GT. well maybe money isn't an issue.

I don't think i personally would ever buy a GXP just because they're so restricted on mods. But if that's what you like go for it!

Under 100 miles IIRC.
I too looked it up on one of those sites, came to around 18 grand for clean retail @ dealer.
That sounded reasonable, given a 32 grand sticker and that it's two years old and will be worth half sticker as soon as I sign the papers.
But IMO 18 is fair to me and fair to the dealer, provided he's getting some factory help, otherwise he'll just be dumping inventory.

Ultimately a car is worth what one person will pay for it.

Yes under 20k for a new GXP is great. Buy it. :th_thumbsup-wink:

Still talking to them. Seem to be some turf issues at the store...

mmm seems step given the current price of our cars.......

I'm not heavy into modding. Any modding I've done has been mild and for improved function, such as GMPP anti roll bar kit, improved struts, better tires, and CAI.
A K&N CAI looks like it might do some real good on this car.

I've seen many a nice ride turned into rolling disaster from too many mods.

My car's primary mission is to start every time I turn the key, and arrive alive and well at my destination. Fun along the way is good too, but I'm not planning on being stranded.

Ten-fo!
