Neverending trans problems

So a couple weeks ago I installed a built trans and a ZZP 2750 stall converter. Within 20 miles I lost all gears. I eventually was informed that the torque converter let go and dumped metal flakes throughout the trans. As a quick solution, I put the stock trans and converter back in (not fun).

So now my stock trans has started to slip really bad in 1st and 2nd gears. 3rd and 4th seem to be ok for now. I have an appointment for a tune for my twincharged setup. Since dyno pulls are done in 3rd gear, should I be fine getting the dyno session done, or should I wait till I get my built trans back from TEP in July? My other option would be to flush out my built trans and put it back in. Im not super excited about spending $500 for a rebuild when I dont really need it. Is Dave's diagnosis of the failed torque converter accurate?

Im just not sure...

If not do a fluid and filter change and hope for the best.

Wait on the dyno tune because you'll still need 1st and 2nd to get to 3rd.

Daves diagnosis is likely going to be one fo the best "over the phone" diagnosies you can get. The man lives these transmissions.

I'd wait....although that's what led my car to never being dyno'd.
