Need trans help

Hey i need some help yesterday i was driving and out of no were something happen to my trans it seems like it is slipping really bad in every gear i pulled over and turned it off for about 10 minutes and then started it back up it was ok for about 30 seconds and then it happened again... im not sure what it is so any info on this will help....

About the only thing we can probably guess from what you mention is that it's low on fluid.

You don't mention if you checked the fluid level, if you haven't..do so before replying.

It's not looking good though 97's have the vacuum trans

The fluid level*was the first thing i checked, it was not low or anything

Change the fluid and filter and see if it helps at all. It kind of sounds like you have a plugged filter.

It went into the shop today so we will see what they say
