Need some help with a tire selection for Saleen 19x8.5 30mm offset

I'm looking for help with a tire selection. I've got my coil over kit sitting around since last year for front and rear. I'm not gonna slam the car. Just get it closer to the tires with a little rake f to r. I'm rolling the fender lips and the rim I would like to run is the black Saleen ( http://www.americanmuscle.com/black-saleen-19x85-0513.html )19x8.5 with 30mm offset. I'll probably run the front around -2 deg camber and the rear -1 ish

I'm also looking for a good wearing tire as I drive this thing 15-20000 miles a year.

Any pics of a car with that size and a 30mm offset?? I can mill the rim if I need to tuck it in further but I'd prefer to steer clear of that.
 
i think the offset on my 19s was +35 or +38, but close enough.

you'll have to roll your fenders unless you run more than stock camber specs.
 
I think you may run into issues in the front if you have it decently low. Or stretch the tire some. Not positive tho. I'd like to see it. Fwiw, I think running -2 degrees camber in the front for 15-20k a year is stupid
 


stock camber is -1.5*, bud. -2* is nothing.

and for what it's worth, you're gonna rub in the back well before you rub in the front. guarantee it.
 
I've ran -2 before and -1 in the rear before on my 300c. Rotate the tires every 4000 and they don't wear that bad. I got 35000 out of my last set. This car will probably get -1.5 in the front -1 in the rear. The wider the tire the better for running a lil camber.

I'll run whatever it takes to tuck them away lol. I'm gonna order the tires and rims this week. Only problem is I'm beyond busy with other things so I doubt I'll be able to do any work on the car till June :-(

I'll probably drop it off for paint and a little body work early May so it'll work out good to get it back and put the coil overs on. I'm pretty excited to see the final product. I'll probably cut back on the miles I drive it if its to nice.
 
Not sure if you would rub the rear first or not. Pretty sure there's more room for a wider setup in the rear and you said you wanted it raked towards the front. All depends on how low I guess. I have 18x7.5 +25 all the way around. Front pokes barely. Rear has 5-16" spacers and isn't even flush yet. I want to put more spacer on, but at that point, yes the rear will rub. I would give you way more props to run that setup with stock camber specs and a little pulling work done to the fenders :th_thumbsup-wink: And hella low of course
 
all he's gonna need are the fenders rolled and this setup will work perfectly. i had a nearly identical setup on my old GP. it's all a matter of running a touch of camber if you run into rubbing issues.

pulled fenders look like **** unless they are done very, very, very well.
 


Well if I pull the fenders I can tell you it wouldn't be me doing it. The guy that would be doing it has built a bunch of 10.5 outlaw cars all of which usually require pulling and stretching the fender openings. I don't have a eye for that stuff.
