Need help! Coolant elbow stuck in intake...

I have a 2001 Pontiac Bonneville with a 3800. When changing the coolant elbow I got the intake side stuck in the intake and can't get it out. Anyone have an easy suggestion for getting this out?

Thanks,
Rick

I bought a blind pilot bearing tool which I use to pull them. It's common for that to happen and since I'm a tool whore...I bought one that would kick butt.

Sorry, I wasn't specific enough. I have the new elbow stuck in the intake. The intake side does not have a "stop" on it and the rubber seal end went on through to the inside of the intake. Now it is stuck hanging out of the intake and I can't get it out. I had a similar problem with the broken one but I threaded a bolt into it and pulled it right out.

It's cool...we see that you live in Missouri.. I've visited there and understand the issue. Just kidding..I think.

Did you lube up the o0-ring before putting it in there? Wiggle and pull it out. What goes in..can come out.

Try applying a decent amount of force (cracking your knuckles off a pulley kills) and while pulling out on the elbow rock it in a circle. I don't was to say rotate it, because that's what could damage it if you aren't careful, but just imagine rocking it back and forth and turn the motion into a circle :P

Mine got stuck once when I forgot to lube one of the o-rings, and the elbow somehow seated itself at the perfect slant to get jammed. Eventually that worked for me.
