Need a tune with headers?



No tune is necessary, but if that is the only mod you ever plan to do, then why not get it tuned for optimal performance?

Regardless, it will run :)
 
I have headers. At one point I was on a stock tune. You will be fine.

Or a better idea....there are threads on this forum that I'd be willing to bet you could figure out they ran fine with just headers ;)

Just common knowledge... you dont need to tune for headers or plog/downpipe. Just like you dont need to tune for an intake or hv3.. will you benefit from a tune? Sure. Is it required? No.

and by tune i just wanna make sure does this mean a dyno tune or a plug in tune?
 


I ran on a rockered 3.4 setup on a stock tune for a while. It was ok but just throwing a canned tune at it helped a lot.
