• The site migration is complete! Hopefully everything transferred properly from the multiple decades old software we were using before. If you notice any issues please let me know, thanks! Also, I'm still working on things like chatbox, etc so hopefully those will be working in the next week or two.

Naturally inspired Grand Prix 3.8 mods?

Okay I will go to their site, but what is a HV3 that bluegtp91 is talking about? Just wondering as it seems each time I go to ZZP it only shows items for V6SC models so just want to make sure I order the right stuff.

I'd recommend get a set of ER Rockers from ZZP: ZZ Performance

You won't have to worry about it being legal or not because no one would know that you installed them. They're really easy to install too. It would probably take about an hour to do and it will give a real gain to the L36. Just make sure that you buy a set of re-usable rocker bolts too:

ZZ Performance

Awww I just removed my head out my ..... and noticed you added the link for ZZP that took me to right what you suggested. I will order those and the extra bolts as you stated. Now I just need to find other suggested item.

ZZ Performance

Make sure you select the 04+ in the drop down menu and you dont need the l36 intake.

Okay so just the rockers then huh I will orders those and leave the HV3 alone then. What HP gain can I expect? I also wanted to know what you would recommend (EXHAUST) I get once I change my rear valance from single to dual. My local muffler guy said adding the Y-Pipe is no issue, I just need to decided the mufflers and tips. I want a deep rumble, nothing to crazy.

HV3 is pretty vital to getting the HP numbers the ER rockers advertises.

Borla XS muffs work well.

Okay so I need the HV3 and the ER rockers with re-usable bolts and a pair of Borla XS Mufflers. I have the K&N FIPK on order so hopefully they will all arrive around the same time. Anything else I should order from ZZP so I can have it all shipped at one time?

and to make your TOG headers completely legal in cali you need the sticker that goes with it, and i have heard the TOGs are only CARB approved up to 2000, im not sure of this just what I have heard, but they are going in my car this weekend hopfully and well read my sn its an 01

and im running the flomaster super 44s and they have a great sound no rasp with factory res

sway bars, strut tower bars, trailing arms, big differnce over stock

I thought about adding some headers but also read they werent legal in CA. I know you cant get those sticker if you contact the maker, but wonder if you will pass smog. I think I will need to hear your car and a few hours to make sure I get the correct mufflers.

The headers wont make you not pass, but you have to have the stock cat, so get bolt in down pipe and keep your stock one for smog purposes, and yeah you can come hear my car b4 you buy mufflers, the sound will change slightly once i have headers

Its not the front bar you should be concerned with, its the rear.

IMO the rear GMPP bar is not worth the cost for the difference it makes.

Borlas do sound good on 3800's. ER rockers are pretty much the third best bang for your buck NA wise. First is top swap (I know that doesn't count :D), and second is cam. Expect a 15-20hp gain from rockers and 2-3 tenths faster in the 1/4 from them.

zzp sold me the gmpp rear sway, as far as i know they dont make rear sway

Oh i know this.

But these cars are front end heavy hence you want a stiffer rear end than front to help with the understeer.

I've tried the GMPP bar on my car with the stock front.

Made a difference, but I wasnt impressed for the money. Going to try SLP's next.

Heres a link to the complete GMPP kit minus trailing arms since they dont make trailing arms anymore.

You should PM me so we can meet up as I know your 10-15 minutes tops from where I'm located. Would like to hear your car before the headers are added.

i have the zzp bar havent put it in yet it goes in this weekend with the headers, i have the whole rear set up in for a few months now, big difference but i want to see what the front one does
