I still would have just top swapped the thing when you had the parts.

I Still cantop swap if i wanted to.just sell the hv3 the rest is interchangeable.
But this car will stay n.a unless it blows up. Then ill buy a l67 and swap the mods to it.

If you pick up a full second with headers and a gear swap, then more power to you.

like I said others have done it I don't see why my car cant. wont know until i go try though.

the car does getup and go now lol, i just haven't wot into second cause i dont want to hurt it tell the problem is solved.
I was messing around in 2nd gear trying to cause the issue to reoccur and i put the throttle to far down and it went into first gear, wasnt even wot and the tires started squeeling but i let off right away.

Nice car I just watched your tranny video and looked at the speedometer and thought oh hell no this guys speedometer goes to 200 and he just went 0-60 in nothing flat looked again and saw that it was kph not mph lmao. Nice car though

Ya I wish lol. But I am barely touching the gas (don't want to hurt the trans)with first gear the pedal is pretty touchy.
I'm not even driving the car now due to its issue.. I'm saving up over the winter then bringing the car to a trans shop to find out what went wrong.

well its been 6 months, got my tax return($3600 :th_king-normal: ) so its time to figure out this trans issue, got a new battery since it was long overdue, new tire since it had a nail in it.. new plates cause the old ones were falling apart, yearly sticker, and hopefully make a appointment for tomorrow to drop the car off at the trans shop.
fingers crossed its something simple.

Car is fixed! It wasn't the transmission but just the tune! Overkill just corrected the diff size in the tune and no more issues! Shifts great and no more hesitation. Can't thank overkill enough for his time and patience in helping me figure this out.

been awhile, cars got new plugs,wires,rear brakes. got a wheel bearing and fuel filter sitting in the car for a later install.
car has a weird misfire at 6000rpms-6500rpms(yes my car revs that high) so im going to try some coil packs from the wreckers, if it still does it ill return them and buy some new valve l76 springs.

Wheel bearing, outer tie rods,fuel filter,new front tires,coil packs,spark plugs, wires, all installed, new pcm to lower shift points in the way.
Seems like I see my car in this position more then on the road lol.



Got a underdrive alternator pulley for pretty cheap,gonna compliment the water pump pulley nicely.

3.69's with this V8 of mine sure are nice, so I can imagine without substantial mods it really woke the car up.

I haven't stomped the gas from a dead stop yet, I have a video of 1st gear but I have to let off due to the misfiring/valve float or w/e the **** is going on at high rpms, a new pcm is on the way with lowered shift points.

heres a video of a harder launch but the misfires at higher rpms. and thats me letting off the gas a bit so i dont get a flashing c.e.l for random misfires lol.


and the new pcm, still a slight studder at the top of first but I dont notice a loss of power, 2nd gear doesn't stutter going into 3rd anymore though.


at this point Im done modding the car, if I get bored enough ill throw on the Underdrive alternator pulley lol. car needs another wheel bearing and needs a new gasket for the trans pan as its leaking, car is old and im getting bored and my 2nd child born on july 1st so I have very little time to mess with the car anymore.

You are one of two people I know of that have done a N/A build, you can't give up now. Lol

I am kind of tempted to go for it myself, though...
