No question it will feel different, but do you have before & after 1/4 times or something? I'm curious to know actual before and after differences (besides "feel").It's a gear change, so it'll change things such as trap speed, but you're staying the beef of the powerband more.
I put 3.69's in my GXP, which is the V8 car. And it woke up the car quite a bit, especially with the super long factory gearing.

You do know he doesn't have the stock fdr right?
I guess my point is that I'd be surprised if you pick up much more than 0.1 second in the 1/4 mile based on a gear change alone. I'm curious if there are any before & after results that would indicate a more significant improvement, and how this stacks up in the "bang for the buck" department.
If it runs 14's, I'd be hard pressed to believe it unless I saw it. It took a GT2 cammed SE here with weight reduction to crack off a 14.8.
It's also an Impala, and they're normally a 100-200~ or so more pounds heavier than the GP's. Hell there was an Indy500 car that tipped the scale at 3780. Ain't a light weight by any means lol.
I'm sure it runs great for an N/A car, I have no doubt. The 3.69's will help quite a bit, but it'll only do so much.
Remember z34phoenix? He pulled a 14.9 with just 3.29 gears.hv3.sd headers and a tune. I got a few more mods then that.
