• The site migration is complete! Hopefully everything transferred properly from the multiple decades old software we were using before. If you notice any issues please let me know, thanks! Also, I'm still working on things like chatbox, etc so hopefully those will be working in the next week or two.

Re: 2005 Impala LS

cost more then paid for the stbs lol. gonna see if my father in-law can make some up for me, he used to be in tool and die for 30 years should be easy for him.

Re: 2005 Impala LS

Well just because you found a deal on the stbs doesn't mean hey the price on brackets is to much to spend. If you can make them then I'll go that route but just keep on mind your going to need some type of template to go off of.

Re: 2005 Impala LS

they are the same brackets as up front pretty much only the holes where the stb gets screwed into are in a different location.

Re: 2005 Impala LS

father in-law is going to try to make the brackets, He is a supply shop teacher for college or high school shop class so hopefully he gets the right class room to make them up before school ends.
If not ill buy the brackets no biggy, id just rather put the $$ into a lower engine mount or front sway bar.

I installed the front sway bar and rear sway bar (with one strut bolt), its not a huge difference but i can tell zooming around town corners lol

Summit racing

I know you like them. I'm debating on getting the whole kit from summit for 287 or whatever. I know I'm gonna need brakes this inspection I have reason to believe I'm on fActory rotors. At 73k and I don't think there is meat left to cut. They aren't warped or anything

Re: 2005 Impala LS

so is this the gmpp front sway bar?

and if so so should I get that sway bar or this one?
http://www.summitracing.com/dom/parts/rnb-927-100/overview/year/2005/make/chevrolet/model/impala

and I plan on getting this rear sway bar as long as its the gmpp

If the im not gonna notice much difference between the dorman to gmpp sway bar id rather get the gmpp one cause its a touch cheaper.

Re: 2005 Impala LS

All I know is the dorman is solid and the gmpp isn't, im sure the difference between them isn't much as it a hell of a lot better than stock anyway.
