My wallet needs health care

All Democrats can burn in hell. The government leeching, drug addicted, drunken, Toyota driving, walmart shoppin, UAW moochin, feminist Liberal bullsh!t can allllll burn in hell.

Im ashamed to admit I live too close to Detroit. But the news can be entertaining to watch at times.

And dont get me started on Obamacare.

I agree.....:th_thumbsup-wink:

And when you've already given those things up and can't afford it after rent and groceries, what then?

Assuming that spending is the issue is hilarious really.

then you hit that "fine line" between can't affording it and not being eligibile for medicaid.

Yeah don't want to go there. I'm out.

Outright stating you hate a group of people due to a label makes you incapable of making an informed decision. It limits your ability to make the right choice because you only see the choice you want to see.

I'm all for making all the people who smoke cigarettes have to pay out of their pocket for any illness related to their habbit etc. So don't think i'm some commie who thinks everyone gets a free ride.

I can't even comment on political parties because then I fall under the same catagory as those who pick a side and stick to it.

Picking a side is pointless since both sides are ****ing something up since no person can be perfect and sides are composed of people therefore they are inherintly flawed. Therefore picking a side and sticking with it no matter what is just letting yourself be blindly lead.

Now when it comes down to it, I agree with the conservative parties around here more than the liberal ones. The far left wingers are ****ing nut jobs though. But as are the ones in the other extreme.

If you entirely dismiss my post, chances are, you're not really thinking about the commitments you make before you make them. Not a wise thing really.

^^ Thats who I was referring to. And it seems you agree with me. :th_thumbsup-wink:

Oh **** dude, look up the NDP and the Green party.

Both are just too far.... And sadly the NDP actually gets seats. :th_shakinghead2:

Liberals are great here... "Do you support this?"

"The law says its legal so yes."

WTF kind of response is that?

some of you guys watch fox news too much...
if anything the right has been far too harsh on things they dont believe

tbh i like john mccain, but ill admit i dislike palin very much, along with rush and the fox news cast like beck, hannity, o'reilly, etc.. if anything they seem like pretty good actors

now im not saying the democratic party is perfect, but theyre not sunk so far down that they have to spread propaganda and lies to further their agendas. nothing wrong with conservatism as an ideology, but everything wrong with the way the republican party gains support

I can honestly say I know almost nothing about american politics. :th_thumbsup-wink:

You AND e6600. If anyone can't see where this country is headed they are blind. It's not about Dem or Repub it's about our freedoms and how this county is headed off a cliff. Thanks to both parties.

And Matt, you need to learn what's going on and become an active participant.

I don't wanna get started on all this. My girlfriends dad knows everything when it comes to the gov't. Half the stuff you think was terrorist, was the gov't.... 911?.... yeah that was the gov't. I could go on for days about what our gov't has done, and what will soon happen in the near future. Oh, and the whole 3000 page obamacare plan, has so many hidden odds and ends in it. One of them being about tuitions and how college students will start paying them. It's all a bunch of BS.

Of a country I don't live in? Right-o captain illiterate. :th_nanana:

Matt, sorry I didn't notice where you were from. You should still pay attention. What affects us will affect our neighbors and traders.

I'm well aware, but paying attention doesn't explain how your government works.:th_thumbsup-wink:

I could tell you how it's supposed to work. I'm not sure I know anyone that could actually explain how it is working right now.:th_winking:

Bah, I dislike this in the extreme, I do. However, its not because I blindly follow my party. I dont care that obama is black, or shonky, but i do care that he has went behind the backs and over the heads of the vast majority of Americans in this Obamacare sh!tstorm. The only hope we have now is that all the dumbasses who voted him in and fell for his "not red, not blue, but united america" and "yes we can! take a dump on all of you and you won't even know it!" mantras realize their mistake, and we get a guy in there who reverses or cancels some of this bullsh!t before its too late. I'll be damned if I'll settle for letting the 16% of people in America (not all Americans, mind you) take from the 86% that do have healthcare. I don't want to settle for doctors who will take a huge pay cut, rather than letting doctors compete for business. Nothing is free. Don't tell that to Obama, but its true. Our military pays the price. Proper citizens pay the price. Too many, though, get a free ride thanks to liberal policies that should be either axed or significantly modified.

if anything the right has been far too harsh on things they dont believe
It would seem YOU are a liberal. Bah. If I adamantly disbelieve something, it is because there is a very good reason to do so. Furthermore, it is Christians and Conservatives mocked for their beliefs, not Liberals (at least, not mainstream) It is other religions allowed to be taught in schools, not Christianity, and woe betide anyone who thinks otherwise. A Msulim wants something done? An illegal mexican immigrant wants something done? You got it. A white Christian male wants something? SHUT THE **** UP. Liberals have eroded our rights in the name of tolerance, of diversity. America was made to be diverse, they say. Well, America was founded as a christian nation. America was bought with the blood of those who worked arduously and fought for what they believed in. No one even considered a life of being the slime we have today. We have not settled that debt, nor will we ever.

Some groups, though, are odd. Oklahoma democrats, for example. They aren't liberal in the least, I dunno why they say their democrat. Seems stupid to me.

In the end, Liberal policies and thought processes are eating this nation away form the inside out. Tolerance be damned, if it means giving everything I hold dear away. Tolerance be damned, if it means catering to those who have no right to be here, to those who leech off the system, to those that protest at military funerals. Tolerance be damned.

America was bought with the blood of those who worked arduously and fought for what they believed in.

Which you didn't need to do... :th_nanana:

This is why I don't like american right winger's. They think that its a disrespect to those who died to stray away from what the country was when it was founded.

Can anyone here sit down and explain to me thoroughly and precisely how it was intended?

Can anyone look me in the eye and tell me that they honestly believe a country should limit its growth based on something created in a society VERY different from that of the present one you reside in?

Get rid of your poor and you won't need to pay for their healthcare.

"Get a job" isn't a solution since hardworking honest people have difficult times finding work.

See how you're ****ed either way?

Healthcare is just easier to force onto a nation than it is to attempt to get rid of poverty.

The Dinner Roll ..

Once upon a time I was invited to the White House
for a private dinner
with the President.

I am a respected businessman, with a factory that
produces memory chips for
computers and portable electronics.

There was some talk that my industry was being
scrutinized by the
administration, but I paid it no mind. I live in a
FREE country.
There's nothing that the government can do to me
if I've broken no
laws. My wealth was EARNED honestly, and an
invitation to dinner with
an American President is an honor.

I checked my coat, was greeted by the Chief of
Staff, and joined the
President in a yellow dining room.

We sat across from each other at a table draped in
white linen. The
Great Seal was embossed on the china. Uniformed
staff served our
dinner.

The meal was served, and I was startled when my
waiter suddenly reached out,
plucked a dinner roll off my plate and began
nibbling it as he walked back to
the kitchen..

"Sorry 'bout that," said the President. "Andrew is very
hungry."

"I don't appreciate..." I began, but as I looked
into the calm
brown eyes across from me, I felt immediately
guilty and petty. It was
just a dinner roll. "Of course," I concluded, and
reached for my
glass.

Before I could, however, another waiter reached
forward, took the glass away
and swallowed the wine in a single gulp. "And his
brother, Eric,
is very thirsty," said the President.

I didn't say anything. The President is testing my
compassion, I
thought. I withheld my comments and decided to
play along. I
don't want to seem unkind..

My plate was whisked away before I had tasted a bite.

"Eric's children are also quite hungry."

With a lurch, I crashed to the floor. My chair had
been pulled out from
under me.

I stood, brushing myself off angrily, and watched
as it was carried from the
room.

And their grandmother can't stand for long."

I excused myself, smiling outwardly, but inside
feeling like a fool.
Obviously I had been invited to the White House to
be sport for some
game. I reached for my coat, to find that it had
been taken.

I turned back to the President.

"Their grandfather doesn't like the cold."

I wanted to shout, "that was my coat!" But again,
I looked at
the placid smiling face of my host and decided I
was being a poor sport.
I spread my hands helplessly and chuckled.

Then I felt my hip pocket and realized my wallet
was gone. I excused
myself and walked to a phone on an elegant side table.

I learned shortly that my credit cards had been
maxed out, my bank accounts
emptied, my retirement and equity portfolios had
vanished, and my wife had
been thrown out of our home.

Apparently, the waiters and their families were
moving in. The
President hadn't moved or spoken as I learned all
this, but finally I lowered
the phone into its cradle and turned to face him.

"Andrew's whole family has made bad financial
decisions. They
haven't planned for retirement and they need a
house. They recently
defaulted on a subprime mortgage. I told them they
could have your
home. They need it more than you do."

My hands were shaking. I felt faint I stumbled
back to the table and
knelt on the floor.

The President cheerfully cut his meat, ate his
steak, and drank his wine..
I lowered my eyes and stared at the small grey
circles on the
tablecloth that were water drops.

"By the way," he added, "I have just signed an
Executive Order
nationalizing your factories.

I'm firing you as head of your business. I'll be
operating the firm now
for the benefit of all mankind.

There's a whole bunch of Erics and Andrews out
there and they can't come to
you for jobs groveling like beggars...we need to
spread YOUR wealth
around..."

I looked up. The President dropped his spoon into
the empty ramekin
which had been his crème Brule.

He drained the last drops of his wine. As the
table was cleared, he lit
a cigarette and leaned back in his chair.

He stared at me. I clung to the edge of the table
as if it were a ledge
and I were a man hanging over an abyss.

I thought of the years behind me, of the life I had
lived. The life I
had earned with a lifetime of work, risk and struggle.

Why was I punished? How had I allowed it to be
taken? What game
had I played and lost? I looked across the table
and noticed with some
surprise that there was no game board between us.

What had I done wrong?

As if answering the unspoken thought, President
Obama suddenly cocked his
head, locked his empty eyes to mine, and bared a
million teeth, chuckling
wryly as he folded his hands.

"You should have stopped me at the dinner roll," he
said.
