My project bike: it just got uglier.

Re: My project bike: *UPDATE* it runs!!

Looks and sounds great besides the muffler not matching. Are you going to paint it?

think i should? i kind of just threw it back on there so it wouldnt sound like complete ****. i drove it to the gas station without the muffler and i hated it. not too loud, just very ugly sounding.

what color? im not sure i'd like it black considering the entire bike is black...red? lol

Re: My project bike: *UPDATE* it runs!!

hmm...maybe. the end caps do come off so it would be easy enough. thanks for the idea!

Re: My project bike: *UPDATE* it runs!!

i think it would look sweet with a red transformers logo on the side :)

OK, I join this forum today, and now you guys got me thinking about bikes again.... You all have beautiful bikes. Here is mine that I have had for some time. Old school vintage death rocket. My 1973 Kawasaki H1D 2 stroke triple, built motor, Denco expansion chambers. I dont ride it, I "aim it".

my bike is pretty much like that too. itll do 150 mph fairly easily, but turning corners isnt the easiest thing to do unless you slow down a fair amount. i call it an ICBM: intercontinental ballistic motorcycle.

Re: My project bike: *UPDATE* it runs!!

I like corey's idea. I'd say go for it, and if it doesn't look good, then you can always repaint it.

OR not paint the end caps at all. I'd probably try that first.

i would leave the exhaust as is, theres already too much black. imo.

Re: My project bike: *UPDATE* it runs!!

you should paint that vented panel red or maybe delete it....looks good but it like theres too much panel when looked at from the side.

Re: My project bike: *UPDATE* it runs!!

I can powdercoat that muff. for ya in some high heat powder coat rated for up to 1200*F
