My Dark Green Metallic GTP - Solddd

Re: My Dark Green Metallic GTP (Boost gauge installed)

Threw some 04+ needles on it. Took forever to get the speedo working because of the needle hitting the clear cover, but it's all good now.

Re: My Dark Green Metallic GTP (Boost gauge/04+ needles)

howd you get the speedo to line back up?

when i did my overlay i had to drive at 10mph and stick the needle on at the 10 mark lol

Re: My Dark Green Metallic GTP (Boost gauge/04+ needles)

I just stuck it on and it worked lol. Still rubs the screen a little. Just going to trim the needle a little bit more. But yeah, it just worked for me lol

Re: My Dark Green Metallic GTP (Boost gauge/04+ needles)

mine would always read i was doing 8 or 9 lower than i was when i did that lol

maybe some change occurred between 98 and 01

Re: My Dark Green Metallic GTP (Boost gauge/04+ needles)

that boat has an inboard v6. now all you need to do is put a supercharger on it

Re: My Dark Green Metallic GTP (Boost gauge/04+ needles)

They stopped using mercury motors in the seadoo jet boats a few years ago. Now they have 4 cylinder s/c motors with like 260 hp

Re: My Dark Green Metallic GTP (Boost gauge/04+ needles)

The supercharger whine is crazy! Also, just ordered some oem style headlights from rockauto.

Re: My Dark Green Metallic GTP (Boost gauge/04+ needles)

So, my speedo needle took a dump. Now the thing is rubbing all the time. Just put my old needles back on for now. If I can get another speedo or tach needle I'll put them back on, but not for now.

Re: My Dark Green Metallic GTP (Boost gauge/04+ needles)

check the connection in the back my gas gauge faield on me and it was the ciruict board not pluged in all the way i would check that and then wiggle the wires
