My Dark Green Metallic GTP - Solddd

Re: My Dark Green Metallic GTP (Beginning of pillar gauges)

He's talking about the body though. Not performance. Yeah, the new ones are fast, but they aren't that old school American muscle. I honestly could care less about newer mustangs anyway. Everyone and their grandma has one lol
Exactly, the idea of an old mustang brings is no where near what the new ones bring, so many people have the new ones it's like they became the most common car, hypothetically

Re: My Dark Green Metallic GTP (Boost gauge installed)

Lol... and you will get the same answer! But go ahead haha

Re: My Dark Green Metallic GTP (Boost gauge installed)

Wiring and what not. Also took some pics of the toys. Got lazy with the vac line by the way lol

Where I hooked the ground up to

Re: My Dark Green Metallic GTP (Boost gauge installed)

not the preferred way to run the vac line.

i would have tapped the vac line on the back of the engine, and put it through the fire wall. that way its out of sight completely.

Yeah, but for now it's fine. I'll probably fix that eventually. I just wanted it done.

Re: My Dark Green Metallic GTP (Boost gauge installed)

You know you lose 3lbs of boost when you run it like that right?

Re: My Dark Green Metallic GTP (Boost gauge installed)

Tap into the back of the MAP sensor, run line through the grommet in the firewall...would have been easier and the correct way...

But...whatevs, lol.

Lazy is right.

Damn kids.

Re: My Dark Green Metallic GTP (Boost gauge installed)

I hit 7 lbs. That's about right. These 04+ needles are being a *****. Put them on. Put the cover on. Test drive. Everything works good. Put dash back together. Won't go over 40

Re: My Dark Green Metallic GTP (Boost gauge installed)

It probably has a lag in the reading if it is hitting the full reading. But hey as long as your happy with it :)

It's fine with me! Like I said, it will most likely eventually be fixed, but for now it does the job! Now it's time to take the dash apart again... yay.
